  1. Fantastic!! I hope to be out if he 190's by Sunday. You go girl!! Keep up the good work!
  2. I had a similar problem with my own SISTER! She is very petite and I have always been the big one but she has always implored me to lose weight. Once I told her about the surgery she got all high and mighty on me saying I should really try harder to do it naturally and not jump into another surgery! I found out later through cousin of mine that she admitted to being nervous that I would become a skinny girl and she would be jealous. We have since worked out HER issues and moved on but yeah the jealousy thing knows no bounds!!
  3. I have not yet hit goal but I hear what you are saying I am only 3 months out and alfway to goal and I alreadyvsee bad habits creeping back in to my life fr example chips and soda! I chose this surgery because I had enough if saringat myself in the mirrorcand not knowing the girl who was looking back. My life had become all about food and drink and I was losing who I was as a person. I am now 40+ lbs down and I already feel like me again! Congrats on hitting your goal and I am sure you will stay there you seem very motivated and I am inspired by your success!
  4. I too was a band to sleeve revision. I lost only 26 pounds with the band over a 5 year period and by the 6th year I gained back everything plus 10! I have had the sleeve for 80 days and I have lost over 40 pounds! I am very rarely hungry and when I am I eat a few bites and I am satisfied and soooo much more energetic!
  5. This one hits home with me too! I am only noticing a change in my face and neck but it as to be coming off everywhere! Congrats to you!!
  6. That is awesome!! So funny how they have that way of making you light up inside with their words! Congrats to you on your wonderful NSV!

  8. I was so hoping that I would go down. Size but here I am 38 pounds later and still an F cup. I did go from a 40 to a 38 back
  9. So as of 8 this morning I am 198.8!!!! I have been waiting for this day for 8 years. My VSG journey started 70 days ago and I am down 38 pounds. I am so happy I made this decision to change my life for the better. To all the "newbies" out there this journey you are on is long and at times hard but I am halfway to my goal in only a little over 2 months and the struggles and soreness from exercise could not be more worth it. I am so grateful for this forum where I can share my successes! Next big scale victory 50 lbs!!!
  10. Congrats on your success you look fabulous!
  11. I hAve been waiting for this week since this journey Began 2 months ago! I am one pound from my first big scale victory. I can not wait to work my butt off this week to see that 1 on Sunday. Loving my sleeve and all the great things it is doing for me!!
  12. Thanks for posting this. I haven't taken an " after" pic yet as I have only lost 36 lbs but I am going to take one at the 40 lb mark. You look wonderful!

  14. So after a disappointing 2 pound week I decided to call my nutritionist yesterday and find out what I can do to ensure a bigger loss this week and she asked me to hold off a day and get back on the scale this morning. I didn't know why but she said to wait until I had a (tmi moment) bowel movement. I only go about 1X a week so I I waited and voila I lost 6 pounds!! I know it wasn't all waste but she was sooooo right and I am so grateful she said get on again. I know te scale shouldn't be everything but this time it really means a lot!
  15. Last week i posted a wonderful NSV today after working out like a lunatic all week and keeping my calories to about 600 everyday I get on the scale and only down 2 pounds. I am so upset I really thought I was going to have a big week. I just dont know why I m such a slow loser and I am starting to think I will ever reach onederland let alone my goal of 140. I know a loss s. Loss but I haven't lst more than 3 pounds in a week sice my first week post op. I am almost 8 weeks out and I haven't reached any of my "mini" goals so far.
  16. That's awesome!! Good for you and tell not to worry you can handle it!! Live a good smack every once in a while!
