  1. I love the epicurios app, big oven, all recipes, Betty Crocker, spark people recipes app. I agree, many great apps
  2. Right now I'm walking and doing couch to 5K. Tried Zumba, it was difficult for me but I will pick it back up. I would love to try aqua fitness, Pilates and yoga.
  3. I eat a carb, one that digest quickly for energy such as a banana, oatmeal(not packaged)with berries, Cereal w/skim, greek yogurt with low cal granola. From what I've learned, for fat burning, 1tbsp of all natural Peanut Butter on 100% whole wheat toast is good with bananas on top. There's many things. It's all based on you and your taste. Research the subject. That's what I've done. Read read and read. There's always something new and exciting when it comes to healthy eating. Good luck Lala
  4. Hi! I'm on Fitocracy it's a pretty cool app about fitness/health. Very nice people on there including those who have had WLS. If so, anyone can add(follow) me. My username is lala4fitness. I'll follow back. Lala
  5. What's the best way to begin strength training? It intimidates me but I must start.

  8. Good luck, it'll be over before you know it
  9. Great snack ideas! I'm glad I asked, thanks everyone
  10. I use the C25K app by Zen Labs. I like it. It allows you to do a week over and you can play your music as well. You can also run the app in the background and use another app at the same time. Like for me, I use the C25K app and run my Nike+ app at the same time, that way I get my cals calculated as well as the pace. I haven't found a "con" to it. Overall I'm pleased. And you can also share your achievement on social networks. Plus it doesn't kill the battery. Good luck
  11. Has anybody tried these products? Are they good and have you been able to lose weight while eating them? I've been trying to find out if these products are good for you. The price is surely right but I don't want to choose price over good quality foods that will actually help my body. Hope that makes sense... Thanks in advance
  12. Loving this thread, great ideas
  13. These all sounds great! Thanks for sharing everyone I've heard a lot about the babybel cheese. I'm going to try it out. I also enjoy the special k crackers with all natural Peanut Butter, yum! The string cheese I just can't seem to get into. Hummus is yummy too, I've only had it once. Such great Snacks you all enjoy
  14. I'm allowed 2 Snacks, am snack/pm snack. For those who can snack or who does snack, what are some of your favorites? Which have you eaten that hasn't caused weight gain or any issues with your band? Thanks Lala
  15. Some say it could be dehydration, not eating enough, low blood pressure, low blood sugar, getting up to quickly and I'm sure other things as well. I have been experiencing this myself. Have wondered why. I try to drink my 64oz, Protein, and Vitamins. It has affected me since my pre op diet. I made a doctors appointment to see why I'm still light headed 2 months post op. I hope you find some relief very soon and the answer to your light headedness. Good luck
