  3. Welcome and congrats! There's lots of supportive people here. You will be fine, don't stress. Calm your fears, we've all had those feelings. Wishing you the best.
  4. Congrats and best wishes on your journey
  5. I chew gum from time to time. I think it's ok as long as you don't swallow it.
  6. If you can drink and eat just fine I would say its possible that an over fill is not the issue. It could very well be seasonal/allergies or a cold of some sort, maybe even stress. Hope you feel better soon.
  7. Some eat between 900-1200 cals. Everybody is different. It depends on your body as well. Some lose weight great at 1000cals while others may not. Some need the extra and some do great at 900 cals. For me on my fitness pal, I usually log about 800-1000cals aday. Some days a little more because at one point my dietitian told me I wasn't eating enough. You can set your own calorie goal on MFP by going to your settings. Good luck:)
  8. Everyone's port is not on the same side. Mines is on the left and so are many others. Every surgeon is different and place the port differently . Please seek medical advice if your pain is persistent and becomes unbearable. There's nothing like advice from a medical professional.
  9. I understand ya, I feel the same way. You're not alone.
  10. You got this! Theres plenty of support here. Best of luck to you
  11. Wine should be ok. Just sip and enjoy. Laugh and have a great time. Have a fun and safe trip
  12. Good post
  13. Sounds like it could be your port area. I hope you feel better soon. If not, seek medical attention. Best wishes
  14. So sorry to hear this. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  15. Congrats and best wishes on your journey
  16. I feel a little restriction now at 5ccs in an 11cc band. I don't think I wanna be too much tighter after my next fill in September. I still want to enjoy my meals without being afraid to eat.
  17. That's great!
  18. Congrats and keep up the good work. Best wishes on your journey
  19. My 1st fill was 6 weeks after surgery. I had 3ccs put in while swallowing the white chalky substance under the X-ray machine. No restriction just swelling from the fill. I had to be on liquids for 2 days after. I also have an 11cc band.
  20. They won't deny you, they just want to make sure you are emotionally ready for the surgery and make sure you keep up with your meds. Good luck you'll be ok. By the way, I'm speaking from experience. I was on meds during my psyc eval. Best wishes
