  1. I love chipotles. I usually get the veggie bowl. Haven't had one in a while. Enjoy! By the way, I've downloaded every restaurant nutrition facts that I enjoy. Even coffe shops. It's a great tool to have when you're unsure about the foods. Good luck and enjoy in moderation
  2. My most challenging meal of the day is lunch. I just never know what to eat. I usually eat a salad with grilled chicken breast strips, a Protein shake or leftovers from the night before(depending on what it was). I need some healthy/budget friendly ideas. Any suggestions would help. Thanks Lala
  3. Happened to me too after my 2nd fill but only once. Mines happened with some egg whites. I've been extra careful since. Just chew a lot and take small bites of food. Good luck. Hope it gets better
  4. Every surgeon is different. My first fill was 3ccs and my second one was 2ccs. At my first fill, I definitely felt the coolness of the saline as he filled it. Quite weird. Good luck and best wishes
  5. Good luck and congrats
  6. I got my second fill 8/8/12 which put me at 5ccs in an 11cc band. The first two days I have to be on liquids then I can eat solids again. I definitely felt a difference after this adjustment. I cant say I'm in the "green zone" but I feel as though I'm close. I hope you are in that magic place and that is last very long for you. Best wishes. Lala
  7. Glad it went well
  8. Congrats on your current success and good luck with surgery. Best wishes
  9. Great! Congrats and best wishes
  10. My first fill was done by my surgeon, no problems, one poke and it was over. Sorry you went through that
  11. Greek yogurt, low fat granola, all natural Peanut Butter or any natural nut butter with whole wheat crackers ( I enjoy the Special K crackers or Reduced fat wheat thins), berries, banana, home made parfait, home made trail mix with dried fruit/nuts/low sodium pretzels/raisins or a combo of your favorite low fat/low cal items. Pita crisp(I love Stacey's brand) with hummus. Hope this helps a little Lala
  12. I'm sorry to hear you went through that. I'm glad you are better. As you probably already know, the band can be very funny acting or as some have said, moody. One day you'll be fine with foods and the next you'll be struggling to even get it down. Maybe they can take you up very little at a time. I think you should talk to your surgeon and try to reach a solution. What good is the band if you can't get the restriction you are hoping for without having another episode like you just went through? Good luck and I hope you reach a solution soon. Best wishes, Lala
  13. How is that?
  14. Thank you
  15. I'm sorry to hear that. Glad you are getting a second opinion. Good luck, hope you get you fill soon. And thanks
  16. Dr Elli is also my surgeon. At UIC each fill is $250. I'm not sure if that's the flat rate or if that's based off your insurance. He's awesome.
  17. 5ccs in an 11cc band. It went well. Two days liquid diet, yay the excitement of Protein Shakes . And -1lb this week. 23lbs away from being out of the 200s. Feeling very good about that. Just wanted to share my excitement for the day Lala
  18. I love those shakes
  19. Congrats!
