  2. That's awesome!! Congrats
  3. I read the same thing and posted on it earlier this week. It bothered me too but we have to just trust the decision we made and hope for the best. I've decided just to stand clear of reading too much into the complications. Every person is different. Their destiny may not be yours. Bless you Wishing you the very best. Lala
  4. I get to start solids this weekend. I was wondering has anybody had an issue eating salad? I want a salad so badly but I don't want to mess myself up. I know this is all trial and error. Just wanna know how anyone else has tolerated it. Thanks Lala
  5. Welcome! Congrats on getting banded
  6. Congrats to all the new bandsters
  7. I had to break down and get some milk of mag and later suppositories. The metamucil was nasty to me but everyone is different.
  8. It took me 5 days to go and I was in tears. I'm still not regular, now it's like every three days, terrible. Hope you go soon
  9. That's awesome! I know that was a great feeling

  11. Hi! I'm 27, 5 feet 4 inches, start weight was 300, now 243(could be less, haven't weighed myself in two weeks), was banded 5/15/12. Good luck on your weightloss
  12. Track your calories, watch your portions, try Protein shakes once or twice a day and one healthy meal or mix it up. Cut down the carbs and watch your sodium and fat intake. Get some walking in, at least 30 minutes a day to start out. Get your Water in, cut back on sugar and sweets. Take it one day at a time. It's a process, you can do it. Good luck
  13. I'm still learning. I haven't had my first fill yet but I do get a tightness in my chest so at this point I assume that's my "full" feeling. Only time will tell. I just hope I don't find out the hard way
  14. Walk, gas-x oh and walk wishing you a speedy recovery.
  15. Thats awesome! Keep up the good work
  16. I havent started anything. I have my kids all day everyday and its difficult to get a regimen going, but I try to incorporate things that we can do together like dancing or chasing each other around the house. Little things like that. Oh and go for walks. Thats all I can do right now. I have Zumba on Xbox Kinect and The Biggest Loser on Kinect, when I have the time, I try to do that but my kids always wants to be involved and if you have a Kinect you know how sensitive the sensor is, theres no way I could ever make it But my oldest daughter will be starting pre school in August so I'll have more time (hopefully) to workout. My little one sleeps for hours during nap time I need to do something thats for sure
  17. an XL, you go girl!! congrats
