It's done- now my new life can start! Was in surgery at 830 now home about an hour. Nurse said it went great. Have a headache but guessing lack of caffeine. Super drowsy.....

Congratulations ! Welcome to the other side. So rest and walk around the house to get the gas out , and you'll probably feel better in a couple of days. dont forget your fluids ! My 1st 2 days were resting, by the 3rd day i went and did a little lite Xmas shopping. just being outside and breathing fresh air for an hour did wonders for me. Hope all goes well ! im so glad i got banded, it has been sooooo worth it !

Thanks Patty- today is a much better day lots of nausea yesterday. Having my first sips of Lipton chic noodle soup sans the noodles and only broth but sounds better than saying I'm having an ounce of broth!

Keep us updated. I'm scheduled for June 29 and at this point I'm so scared i considering not doing it.
