  1. Congrats on your success! I wanna see your awesome pics too...
  2. Hope your date is soon. Monday is the day I'll call the surgeon's office too. Doc said to give them a week after my endoscopy. Endoscopy was last Monday, so I'll be calling this Monday. Hoping for an end of June date.
  3. Let me preface by saying that I dont even have a surgery date yet. I finally caught the workout bug and am actually looking forward to spending time OUTSIDE with my daughter rather than taking her out just because I know it's good for her. I don't look any different, but feel like a million bucks after a hearty workout this morning. And for the scale victory, I'm down 3 pounds this week. WOOT! I just started tracking my food last week and it really makes a difference.
  4. Support meeting this Tuesday (May 15th). I'll be there, anyone else?
  5. Congrats on the approval. I feel ya on the roller coaster of emotions.
  6. Enjoy your day as well.
  7. I was so nervouse to tell my parents, but they have been so supportive. They have taken me to doctors appointments and watched my daughter whenever so that I could go on appointments or go to the gym. I told my best friend, who had bypass. She was against it at first, believing that I could do it on m own, but has come around. I told my hubby, who is nervous for me to have surgery, but supportive. I told m PCP and GYN, because I needed their help in preparing for surgery. I was also nervouse to tell my chiropractor, who is nerdy health conscious. He was also supportive. PHEW I have not told anybody at work, just that I'm taking days off to take care of health concerns that have recently come up (pre-diabetes, hernia). Not sure if I'll tell them ever or not...
  8. Looking good. Keep up the good work!
  9. Completed my sleep study last night. Woot! Tech said he could not say "officially," but he saw no evidence of sleep apnea. :happydance: Now one final appointment (I think) with the pulmonologist, who will give me (hopefully) the final clearance I need.
  10. Good luck. Update us when you can.
  11. I was told that they go by the initial weight during intake.
  12. I love that you are able to look on the bright side of things. Hang in there. You'll get it done.
  13. All done and it went well. My doc did discover that I have a hernia that he will repair when I have the surgery. Hope you came through all right.
  14. I have mine tomorrow too. Hope all goes well for the both of us.
  15. I am pre-op, but i think nerves are preety normal. Hang in there. You can do this.
