  1. How is the overnight training going? I finally feel like I am healing now. I only worked a few days last week. I am back to my normal 10 hour days this week. I take a good nap at lunch and feel better than last week. Are you having trouble getting in protein and fluids now that you are back to work?
  2. Wow your are on soft foods early. I don't get to start until Sunday. I haven't had any issues with food either. I am really shocked at how easy this has been.
  3. Has anyone cheated yet? I had a small cookie tonight while carving pumpkins with my family. I chewed it into nothing before i swallowed.
  4. I have done it. I think it is head hunger because i am not hungry at all. I have only done it a couple of times and feel like i am cheating after doing it. I know its an eating disorder if i do it on a regular basis. Goodness knows i am not perfect in this journey and really don't see anything wrong with it.
  5. I have a feeling that I will be sharing with my 3 year old when I eat out! I would have never imagined that would be possible! lol
  6. I haven't been to a restaurant yet, but I am sure that it is an eye opener!
  7. That's how i feel today. I took off work early and heading for a long nap.
  8. Who knew we would be so happy for a BM. I did today and was doing the happy dance! Lol
  9. I am only 10 days post op but find it so funny to have so many leftovers. I am in shock that i can only eat half or less of a jello or pudding cup. Before i could eat all four or six in a package. I don't think i will ever finish my can of refried beans.
  10. Don't dread the appointment's. I scheduled all of mine on the same day because I am four hours away from my surgeon. Think of it as the end of one a long boring process getting ready for your new life. Make the day fun and go shopping or treat yourself to a pedicure.
  11. I had surgery last Monday and returned to work on the following Tuesday. I feel pretty good but would have preferred to work half days this week. I kind of have desk job but am out of the office quite a bit seeing clients locally. I am pretty sore by 1:00. I spent one night in the hospital.
  12. I am a week out and have done the chew and spit it out. I am glad that I am not the only one that has done it.
  13. Cancel! I just figured it out.
  14. How do I search for a members name? Thanks
  15. My doc said a stool softner was fine to take about three days post op.But no Fiber until 6 weeks out.
  16. Welcome to the other side! Each day it gets better and better. I was sleeved on 10/15.
  17. I am guessing this is for your pre op diet? Are you allowed shakes? Luckily my pre op diet was very short. I am one week post op and on liquids. It really isn't bad, I just need to keep myself busy. It is an adjustment but you can do it!
  18. To keep everyone motivated as we begin our new journeys, I thought we could keep up with everyone's stats and other important information weekly. For me my weekly weigh in will be on Monday. Some ideas I thought of were: SW/CW/GW Measurements What stage of diet are you on now? What are you eating NSV New recipes that your are learning with your diet stage I thought these might be fun to get to know about everyone. If anyone is interested in a Facebook group that could work too. If anyone else can think of any others lets add them to the list. Thanks
  19. i am 5 days post op and food is a chore for now. i look forward to learning how to cook healthy meals for my family in a couple of months.
