  1. I was able to opt out of suggested ads. I can't remember step by step, but beside the ads there is an arrow. If you click on this it opens up Google directions and tells you how to opt out.
  2. I don't have Dr Yu, but I did use Dr Scarborough in the same practice TLC surgery and loved him. The staff has been very helpful as well. I am 4 1/2 months post op.

Still on week 5, but ran 2 miles without stopping. Woo! Hoo!
  4. I had no loss in the 1st weigh in and I cannot weigh in on Monday because I'll be out of town. I am so excited to be off my stall so I decided to go ahead and post an early weigh in. Today I weighed 186.4. I lost 4 lbs. WOO HOO! 11.4 more to go in 6 weeks. I can do it. Please baby Jesus no stalls!
  5. It was supposed to say good luck in your search. Dang auto correct on the iPad. Lol!
  6. I'm getting close to a 12. I'd say in about 7 lbs I'll be there. I'll be 180 in 7 more pounds. I know every body type is different, but maybe this might help as a starting goal.
  7. We are friends on MFP so feel free to look at my diary too and other people. You can steal some ideas for food.
  8. Glad to help. Let me know what he/she says. I'd love to know too.
  9. I was only nauseated right out of surgery, but I was so doped up I hardly remember it. I remember asking for medicine for it, but my eyes were closed and it didn't feel like it lasted long at all.
  10. Do you have a nutritionist? If so, maybe go back to him/her for advice on how to up it without increasing the volume.
  11. I believe it's your calories in versus calories out. You might consider trying to find a way to eat more calories in a sitting and not necessarily more food to get your calorie intake up. This is what I struggle with too. I'm still losing, but just not as quickly as I'd like.
  12. Um, 33 lbs in two months is incredible. I am 4 mos out and have just lost 56 lbs. You will most likely surpass this at your rate. Loss and the rate of it also depends on your starting weight and how much you have to lose. Don't get caught up in comparing yourself with other WL patients. I did this too and soon realized that I was happy with my loss and needed to focus on myself and not what others were doing. I agree you need to stck with exercise and change it up. Also watch your sodium intake too. Do you log your food and exercises? If not, you might want to consider doing so. You might not be eating enough for the calories you are burning and this can slow your weight loss down considerably.
  13. What is slow? When was your surgery and how much have you lost?
  14. I have a thyroid problem. I still have it, but it's essentially non-functioning. I take daily thyroid medicine. I had the sleeve on March 13th and have lost 55 lbs (starting weight was 243). It's a non-issue as long as you stay on top of your medicine.
  15. Welcome to the losers bench. Did you do your revision in one surgery? Why did you decide to do the revision? Where did you have your sleeve? Wouldn't that be sonething, getting too skinny?
  16. You are getting close. The first 3 days were the hardest for me on pre-op. Once you get past this though it's not so hard.
