Marchies. My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday March 27. I plan to make this sleeve my b***h.

I'm up because sleep is not working. 1.5 hrs till I leave for the hospital. Anxious, nervous, excited. I can't even slow my thoughts down.

Hello everyone. Just had sleeve done on 3/14/12. I am home and feeling really good. Just a little bit of discomfort at the incision sites. My only complaint is that I seem to gurgle everytime I swallow something! Anyone else had this, and is there anything I can do?

Hey guys I had surgery in 3/13 still on Clear Liquids. When did any of you guys begin eating more thick liquids like yogurt or even retried Beans?

My surgery just got changed to the 19th one day earlier woo hoo.

I haven't been sleeved yet. I have a good friend that got the lap band 1 year ago and didn't lose a single pound. Now that I qualify for the sleeve she has become so negative, trying to discourage the procedure, bad-mouthing the doctor, etc... Pure jealousy. I'm curious how she'll act once I am sleeved and start losing. If the negativity continues, there won't be a friendship! I'm hoping I'll influence her in a positive way and maybe she'll even convert to a sleeve, too.

I am on dAy 5 of my 2 weeks. And yesterday was a break thru. No caffeine withdrawal headache, no extreme hunger. I think at my weight my body can live off of my liver for at least a year. You can do it! Last night I even went to dinner at red lobster with my family. True test of commitment. I had grilled no butter lobster tail and shrimp with 2 servings of broccoli. As the date gets closer I may move to 3 shakes a day bit right now I enjoy my 1 meal daily and you can too!

This pre op shrinking thingy works. You know how you put on a pair of jeans fresh out of the dryer and they are a little ?tight? Today the scale says I'm down 12lbs (go me) but my size 18 that are snug but well worn are loose like a goose today. Doing a happy dance. Just think that if I feel this good on pre op can't wait to be sleeved on next Wednesday. 7 days and counting.

I'm having my VSG on March 1 and I want someone I could talk to if I have question or if I need advise.. Just someone who is going through the same I am..

Only my husband and doctors know! I started a really intense workout and dieting routine before surgery and just told everyone I had ulcer/hernia repair.
