  1. wls-clinic@hotmail.com our 619-793-4869. His assistants name is Anaid!
  2. I'm with delby,, Dr Kelly has been doing the sleeve surgery alone (not with the ds)) for six years. I'm not sure if you will find too many others who have. He has been in bariatrics for at least 14 years. The hub nun, is just that, hubbub created by coordinators. All of his equipment is state of the art, and he operates out of a legit hospital. I'm sure if you contact him, he could give you references from patients up to six years fie just the sleeve surgery. Its worth the call PS, I am not a coordinator, just someone who has done tons of research
  3. Amazing news! Glad you are home and doing well!
  4. Dr Joya in Puerto Vallerta. He said that he is an excellent surgeon, and that they are very good friends.
  5. I have to say, that Anaid.AND Dr Kelly have been wonderful! They have answered ALL of my questions, and there have been many! I had a lengthy conversation, and I asked him every question under the sun, and he was more than happy to answer all if them. I even asked him if he had to have this surgery, who would he go to. He loved it! His answer was the only other Dr I had even looked at. Trish can't recommend him anymore because she doesn't work for him any more, pretty simple!
  6. Whoo hoo!! those are some stellar numbers! You are doing fabulous!

  8. Never thought about a name until this post! You all have inspired me, so when I have my surgery, I think I'll name her Sleevie Nicks!
  9. Thanks for keeping us updated! Glad you're enjoying yourself! Enjoy the hotel, and I'm wishing you the best with your surgery
  10. Dr kellys wife works for a dentist
  11. Hmm! Maybe your bmi is lower? The object is to shrink your liver. Not to worry you, but that sounds strange
  12. Thank you! I'll let you know how it goes!! I'm hoping by doing this, I will not only prepare myself better, but to lose a few more pounds as well. I have like 130 to lose so I'd like to be rid if twenty before I go in for surgery, lowering my bmi, and improving my chances for a successful surgery! I started using the "my fitness pal" app on my phone, and it is wonderful for keeping me accountable for the calories ( carbs, fat etc) I eat, and had given me a goal of 1350 Cal daily. I highly recommend this to you all!
  13. My Dr likes a two week pre op diet, but days almost no one follows it, so he requires 3 full days of a full liquids diet. I'm going to try very hard to do the 2 wk diet, with the last 3 days being completely liquid
  14. Good job!! I know I will have a tough time so I have started 90 days out, replacing one meal with a protein shake...then as time goes on, I will add to that until I am at a full liquid stage by two weeks out. Sounds good, I'm hoping I can do it! Were rooting for you!
  15. That is the day I told Anaid, and she said "okay" so I don't know! Lol

  17. I was really wanting to go to the hotel lucerna the day prior to my surgery so I could enjoy the pool and do some shopping. I feel like I'm being a pain to Anaid, because I have asked her a million questions, but I feel like I'd like that better than two days after surgery at the hotel. My husbands aunt is most likely going with me, so, I just think that would be the way to go
  18. I'm not a lover of obesity help. This Site is much more helpful and positive. I've found that you'd be hard pressed to get answers to questions you post, hut you can see that hundreds of people have read it :/. Welcome! You'll do great!
  19. You can also utilize you tube for tins of real people documenting their journey. I love what rootman said, he nailed it!
  20. Awesome!! How many Weeks it are you?
  21. And I'm going to see Dr Kelly in June! I already like him so much! Can't wait to meet him in less than 90 days! Best of luck, and keep us posted!
