I was going over info from my Education Class and was calculating what my 60% EWL will be. Yeah, very discouraging. For those of you 1 or more years out, i was wondering what percentage you're at now? Did you meet or exceed the 60% or have you not met it or gained it back? Thank you

Yeah, that's too bad that we can't have that support system from the ones who matter to us, tho'.

My husband and my mother are against it. H just thinks I'm being "lazy" and could dole the weight on my own (LOL oh, ok! Guess I shoulda figured that out when I was a kid). My mother is just worried about the actual surgery and is encouraging me to lose it on my own. Because of these responses, I just don't tell anyone anymore.

I'm going through Tripler AMC in Hawaii. I'm just in the beginning stage of the program.

All of the above plus: *Being able to climb Koko Head (Hawaii) *Energy to do things instead of sit on my *a-hem* all day *learn to canoe paddle and join my kids' canoe club (too afraid I'll sink the canoe now) *not having my child be embarrassed about what I look like (sad,yeah, but true)
