  5. i took a bath (day 4 i think?) got in tub but didnt let water cover my incisions...it was soo nice...i didnt want to but hub said get in there and relax/read....glad i did..oh btw, told my dr and he said its fine as long as i kept my 5 incisions dry.
  6. i think for the most part, yes non compliance but sometimes, things just happen.
  7. Clear liquid Full liquid Mushy Soft Regular (as tolerated) those were my stages
  8. let me say that grammy is one of the nicest people i have never met..this person as well as others is a walking/talking success story...she and others offer support/friendship/understanding to whom ever wants it.. i have received pm's very similar to this. its not very nice and completely unacceptable....if you dont like what someone says, ignore it. keep posting gram, i read..
  9. dang....its 3.22 here i wonder if we will ever get under 3 per gallon??
  10. i dont have a fill but reading posts for some time on this forum, you sound like you maybe too tight...you need to be able to drink/eat...please see your dr its important to you. bee well

  12. different doctors with different rules.......mine says up to i start eating is fine and ive read some who say stop 1/2 hr before they eat...i think its up yo your dr and their suggestions to you bee well
  13. being so newly banded you are bound to be swollen.....so please eat (if you are) slowly, sip sip sip and preferably nothing with substance...you dont want to eat before you should..id say applesauce consistency or watery oatmeal hang in there.......an if in doubt, always call your dr to confirm as they would know best
  14. everyone is different and what worked for me by my dr may not work for you as i was on 2 weeks liquids after surgery.....then it was mushy (used my vitamixer alot) and then a week soft....did your dr or nutritionist give you handouts of foods to eat?
  15. well you are healing......body full of fluids.....i would stop weighing for a few weeks so your body can heal....congrats on your surgery bee well
  16. dr's say no carbonation....why would you risk it?
  17. some of mine know and some dont you tell whom you want too..def nothing to be ashamed of. as far as the intimate...if it hurt, i switched positions..(newly banded)..at my highest weight, you couldnt feel it, but now at 88 down, its a hard spot on but i view it as my life saver.........super proud bee well

  22. yes, it sounds like because you are swollen. your are very early out..also, from my own learning experiences early on, drinking too fast/sipping too much caused discomfort. i was 2 weeks liquid post op, then 1 week mushy and then 1 week soft and then as tolerated..... bee welll
  23. my dr told me to wait 1/2 hr hour if you are really thirsty, see nothing wrong with taking a sip or two.. def was a new habit i had to develope. bee well
