  1. i guess i should have been more specific (no ticker) i only have the butterfly but when i am on the forum, i cant see it after i post.. i can only when i am not logged in (then i see my butterfly)
  2. agree with above no problems should be happening if used properly trust me, you dont want bad things to happen as i dont either so i follow the rules.. stop reading the complications as yes it does happen, but not always the ones who dont have any issues are the ones who should post more..i wish the ones most vocal neg are the ones who divert off course mostly..
  3. well, i couldnt do beef broth.....so hub got me low sodium chicken soup and he drained it and mixed it with my ff chicken broth..def gave it some more flavor for me..and did the same with veggie soup and tomato soup..did this for nearly 4 1/2 weeks liquid. ps..havent had soup since
  4. i cannot see my butterfly/ticker when logged in..although i can see it when i am not logged in i have used foxfire, mozilla, ie, windows 8, google chrome and its the same.. on my work pc, my ipad, my lap top and reg desk top at home any ideas as to why?
  5. only a dr should answer your question and advise you as the posters said, call and make appt to see your dr take care okay
  6. nope never heard of it and like the other poster, time to call your dr and have them look at it just in case...
  7. well if that is what your dr said guess that is what matters mine didnt say for me to eat chicken 4 days out..if he did, id be too scared and also couldnt have ate that much anyhow..oh well, amazing how different dr's and people following (instructions) are
  8. mine hasnt changed...i still bloat, cramp and b***ch per normal i find that even though i wanna graze, i know the band only lets me eat so much..so its there to help
  9. add me to the list (hate being left out) i drink up til i eat and then wait 20-30 min (sometimes more if i am at work)
  10. bad at work, pms, fight with hub, inlaws on the way over, breaking a nail......all triggers for me to run to the nearest mickey dee's and a lot of coors light........def emotional eater that was then, here is now...i go for a wee walk, or drink my tea or come to this forum and blog or go to my private thread and vent....i know now that its only hurting me to pig out/over eat....but the thoughts are always near by...
  11. i am also too tight in the morning and couldnt eat if i wanted too i do my whey Protein shake 28 grams of protein plus the ff milk and that is a boost to my bodys requirements in regards to protein. i happen to love my protein shake and i look forward to it. i know its good for me. i say do what works for you.
  12. like b52, speaking for myself only i let the band work also and i help it by eating healthy/filling foods in my allotted amounts, period. its an every day for me and its my world now 24/7..but i also know even i dont have fills, i have to do my part. i dont think (one should) depend on a fill to lose weight..i am living proof it can be done without one..it doesnt make me any better, i just have to try harder. not being being able to drink or eat because of it seemingly too tight, in my opinion is not living a happy life..being too tight to eat so one can lose weight hurts my heart to read...my dr told me people want that and i read it on this forum daily. go back to the basics protein/veggies/fruit in your allotted band amount drink alot and the hardest thing, help the band by letting it work am rooting for you
  13. could be they are jealous as you have decided to do something about it.....good for you now work it girl
  14. you dont have to the plication to be successful and lose weight some have it and do well and some dont means nothing unless its used properly focus on getting the band and following the dr's instructions and get healthy could not respond to your email from work as we left early today
  15. the ones i have found to be the most vocal against are the ones who have no idea what the band is or how it works and also the ones who divert from their dr's orders after surgery (ones who want a quick solve) you do this for you like you i got me a supportive rock who has been with me each step, each pound, pity party of the way. thats all you need besides your want to power deep inside. and some great support people on this forum. proud of you for making this decision.
  16. yes be patient easier said than done but its a fact. the first month (4 to 6 weeks) is for healing your insides you and i did not gain weight overight so you wont lose it over night focus on (if you are on soft/mush yet) Protein and eating good quality foods you have to eat to feed your body..just because the scale is not moving does not mean our new band is not working..give it a chance. not trying to be mean but trying to get you keep positive even when you dont want to.
  17. now you realize why i watch it............love jason from ghost hunters too
  18. for real...drives my hub batty.......mainly because i spook myself LOL
  19. well, i found this and it was interesting..maybe it can help lots of info http://www.webmd.com/cholesterol-management/features/checklist-your-low-cholesterol-diet
  20. we can put our feet up in front of fire and you can watch ghost hunting shows with me...yeah i believe
  21. well, dont freek as it wont solve anything...just try and get to your dr as soon as you can if it gets bad..then go to er the roads are icy where i am at too....just watch it and def call dr to see them first thing monday..
  22. addiction is a word that comes to mine, am drinking some now..if you were here, i'd get you some
  23. hub got me peach tea when i started pre op and now do not leave home without it in my pantry, i swear there at least 10 containers and i have 2 or 3 in my drawer at work..and in my purse...i also buy the walmart brand and its just as good if not better.
  24. seeing the scale at over 336 pounds, not being able to walk far or wondering do they make clothes bigger than size 30..that was my deciding factor along with being able to push my new granddaughter around the block. tricare does not cover the sleeve so that was not ever on the table. i did not want the bypass as i was too scared and my dr felt i should have it because of my size and high bmi. but i stuck to my guns..then he told me of the latest thing, the plication with the band..he stressed i would have to change everything about my life..in order for it to work..for me to lose weight, id have to help the band by eating better foods, and in my allotted amounts and follow the guidelines.. i think its successful so far (lost nearly 100 pounds since last june), and i feel with all that i am that any wls is successful if you really want it and do everything you can to make it happen. its not a magic cure all but it will work
  25. add me to this...as i was bathroom queen (pre and post) fluids in means fluids out........my dr okay'd me immodium a.d (maybe yours will too)
