  2. mini is exactly right....so many things we took for granted.. people not overweight or obese really dont think about the (littles things) lets make a stand to not take it for granted anymore

  9. i have had alot of nsv's and happy moments since banding..... but there is one that stands out.....that made me go wow was it being able to put on a seat belt and not cut my head off put my socks on put on foot on my other knee wipe my butt wearing xl from a 5x getting under 300 no, it was when i was able to walk around the block i wanted to be able to push my granddaughter around the block and when i could.....that realization made me go, yeah, this is so worth it what was your ONE thing...

  14. i was just finishing mine up...i wore a pad and some totally unsexy hospital undies..i figure if knows my starting weight 336, i am sure my little period blood wont bother him...try not to worry, surgery is over quick
  15. def agree with mis and msinto and jack and steph, your dr is the one to answer this as he may want you on total liquid or a variance..just depends, not really an answer to your question
  16. i still crush my nighttime need sometime sleep med and take liquid cvs brand tylenol but the best one to ask is your dr and i agree with lab and mis and chz on that part granted some has no problems what so ever so if you take them, be careful
  17. expect not miracles but a helper to help you eat less.. as chez said, follow your dr's advice,its crucial...
  18. some dr's and band patients say its okay many will say yes and many will say no best to do what your dr recommends for you that being said, my dr said no to carbonation i am nearly 1 yr post op...havent had soda or my beloved coors light since but am addicted to peach ice tea via crystal light or walmart version

  20. i remember where i started and hence why it keeps me on my path.. i do have some clothes i use as a reminder at if i lose want power, that 300+ will come back great post
  21. yes, throwing up is bad if you cant swallow, you may be tooo tight and not being able to eat/drink is so not worth being super tight take wee bites, chew alot, go slow---back to basics wishing you all the best honey
  22. fashion (((hugs))) and great news on the approval letter he will come around...once he starts seeing your inner goddess come out, he will be 100% supportive you just keep him in the know, the loop...he is probably just scared for his queen....do you know when surgery will be yet?
