  2. I am 3 weeks post op today as well..I lost 20 pounds the first two weeks and have lost nothing since. Everyone keeps telling me this happened to them too and to just hang in there and keep doing what your doing and eventually the stall will end...I'm hoping..good luck too..
  3. My NUT told me that B12 is water soluable and it will come out in your pee if you take to much, she told me not to worry about it?
  4. Thanks, I will certainly take everyone's advice, guess it was just that initial frustration just like every other diet I was on in the past when you tried so hard and you didn't see the scale moving! LOL..I need to get over that and keep telling myself that this will pass! Thank you..
  5. Thanks everyone, I'm going to trust you! Lol. I will just keep on doing what I'm doing and pray for the stall to end soon. I'm naturally an impatient person and I need to just stay positive, thanks again.
  6. Feeling so defeated and frustrated today. The first two weeks post op I was losing 1-2 pounds a day. Since last tuesday I have not lost a pound! Yesterday I went on a 2 hr strenuous hike followed by horse back riding thinking that today I must have lost something and nothing! I'm doing everything I'm suppose to be doing and really upset right now. Pre surgery I had the hardest time losing weight no matter what I did, I did not go through this experience to stop at 20 lbs ! Any suggestions would be helpful,.Not happy today..
  7. You look amazing!
  8. Aren't you having protein shakes by now? that should really help you..
  9. I had Dr. Mitchell Roslin at Lenox Hill hospital in Manhattan..He is an excellent surgeon.
  10. Thanks for the info I will check it out.
  11. Same here, I'm 2 1/2 weeks out and lost 20 pounds in the first 2 weeks and now nothing! I better not be stalling already..I'm wondering if I start exercising if that will help jump start it again? Going for my post op appt today and will find out when I can start exercising..Good luck..
  12. When does your surgeon say you can start on pills? I go for my 2 week post op appt today and I will be asking him because I can't stomach them anymore! I'm hoping now, I heard 2-3 weeks post op but I'll see.
  13. I'm still on the liquid stage and I was just saying yesterday that I am craving avacodos! That sounds delish, will definitely try it when I move on to pureeds..what is a Magic Pop?
  14. i just read it and I give you a lot of credit for having the courage to even go back for another surgery! I don't think I would have had the courage to do that after all you went through..Glad you are doing well now..
  15. I don't mind the Premier Protein drinks you can get at almost any store, I also don't mind the muscle milk..I purchased the Matrix brand of protein mixes online and they are good as well, they have a delicious mint chocolate chip flavor if you like that..Everyone is different with their tastes though, because I don't really like the Isopure..Just keep trying different ones until you find one you like..Good luck
  16. I too went in thinking that I was definitely going with the lap band. My insurance originally denied me and it took me a full year of fighting with them to finally get approved. In that years time frame, I was able to do a lot more research on both and my surgeon also highly recommended the sleeve over the band. I was sleeved 2 weeks ago and really feel thankful that my insurance denied me at first because after doing my research I was convinced that the sleeve was the way to go and I'm very happy with my decision. Good luck to you.
  17. It probably was the meat, your still kind of early out..I know someone who is a year out and says she still can't eat meat...
  18. I had my surgery on 4/2, 2 weeks today and I've lost 20 pounds, very happy so far..
  19. So sorry to hear this. Will pray for a speedy recovery. Do they know how you could have gotten it?

My surgeon told me as soon as I feel up to it, pretty much said as soon as I want to.
