  1. i think 16lbs is great for a months time! i have had three fills and they are generally no sweat thanks to the lidocaine!!!! you should be in and out relatively quickly:) good luck to you!
  2. i have experienced similar things...and it is irritating that the only topic of conversation i am now worthy is about my weight. many times i have used this conversation to explain how the band works and but most often recently i just tell them i am no longer keeping track of my weight loss and am unsure how much i weigh-so they will not ask me again. as others have already voiced it is a process and a journey and the weight will move-just not when we want it to. dig deep, continue to follow the rules and employ some of the many great suggestions that are floating around this site to get things moving again...i have been bouncing around the same 5-6 lbs for a month with no "real"loss...head up!
  3. just wanted to let you all know that i had wine this past weekend at a graduation party for my kid! my tolerance did not seem to be affected by the band...i will admit that i did overdo it and will not likely indulge again for several months due to the calories...i do not feel guilty about the wine one bit...i do feel guilty about the cake though:/
  4. hang in there and hold your head high! this is a struggle we all encounter on our journey...i gained and loss 10-12lbs last month but had a net loss of only 7 when it was all said and done..i even got to 200...2000 almost at onderland and ended the month up 4...my kids graduates this weekend, my mom is on town, and there are several warm weather activities surrounding food coming up for me...i am determined to stay focused this month...but i know i will have some slip ups...it's ok...remember we are in this for the long haul...jump back in there and leave tomorrow in the past:)
  5. great news! i believe there may be some fish oils gummies!
  6. sorry so late...ending on a high note...204:/
  7. 200..going for a fill soon!

  10. well that just plain sucks:/ thank you so much for sharing. you continue to be an inspiration to me. loving the fact that you were able to turn it around if only here on this forum using your words...i am not sure of your husband has struggled with weight loss but he truly has no idea what woman go through with our body image regardless of our size...chalk it up to ignorance...he loves you:) and let your celebration resume!!! chin up!
  11. I'm planning to have some June 2!!!

  17. i think i saw a snippet of this on gma this morning...was it about a particular clinic in cali?
  18. OMG! beautiful in all three pics...what a difference!! continued success!
  19. I was also instructed to bring my cpap...it wasn't used during surgery and I was given the option to use it or continue to use the oxygen once I was in my room...I had an overnight stay and just used the oxygen...it was more comfy!
  20. the closer i get to onderland the further away it seems...up 3 down 3...up 4 down 2...what a roller coaster of emotions and weights...its been almost 3 months now and i am beginning to settle in...with my band. there are constant reminders of its existence, but for the most part we are one...i have learned what i can and can not eat...and i have settled into an exercise regimen...i can see subtle changes and have come to accept that this is definitely a process...a true journey...i know that i am more physically fit and i feel much better than i did before pre-band...old habits are hard to break...but i am heading for success...i hope my mind catches up soon --->rethinking things--->taking it one day at a time! in positivity, motivation, determination, health, and weight loss
