Lulutatt ask your dr about the band with plication... It's lots of info on here and people who have had the band with plication. You can search plication on here and get. Some info about it.

It's ok to be afraid of the unknown, but think about what everyone else is telling you. If you continue on the same path you are on now the consequences are far worse. High blood pressure, diabetes,pain in your knees, lower back pain. I could go on and on! You will be fine, relax and think about positive things! You got a lot of people here on LBT on your side!

My nutritionist told me about these. She suggested to use them and get them from publix. Never tried them and she didn't tell me about collagen. Could their be different brands with diff. Ingriedients?

And if you ever feel discouraged and or weak and tempted to eat something out of your plan log in and get that motivation. Just a tip: it helps me when I have a craving I go brush my teeth. I was told the same thing and when I told the Dr. That I'm having the surgery with he says most of his patients have low vitamin d. Some causes are low exposure to sun and if you are a vegetarian. Symptoms / tired and low energy and appears it hinders weight loss. Funny thing is I live in Florida ! Hope this helps....

Sleeping beauty do a search put plication on lbt. It's lots of people doing very well with this new procedure. They add a extra step with the lap and and fold the stomach in a suture it. Helps reduce slippage and other complications of lapband. It's considered a experimental procedure now but the few studies they have done are positive.

Dr. Brett Cohen in Hollywood also does this procedure. I believe their are some in Ga also. Search plication on here and learn more about the procedure. I've seen lots of great info and positive results about it.

I have not had the surgery yet but from what I've read from other they feel nauseated when drinking the shake when it's to thick. Most have been using water instead of milk and or maybe you can add water if it's prepared already. BTW Congrats on the road to a new life!
