  1. Impressive and thanks for sharing! You are doing a awesome job! Please share what do you follow as far as your eating plan? And if you don't go to the gym, are you or have you done any exercise to get where you are with weight loss?
  2. Oh ok that's good to know. I have my consultation the beg of March....maybe I will get the other appointments after that...,
  3. Make sure and double check with your insurance that the 6 months is indeed required because the Dr. Office I went to assumed based on my insurance that it was required but it actually was not. I called to verify with my insurance carrier and then the ofc rep called and checked and they told her it was not required. Just double check ! And get a copy of your health insurance policy. It's a lot of paper but worth it to have for proof!
  4. Has anyone tried oh yeah protein shakes? Im curious about the taste?
  5. How long did it take for the scheduling of the other test after your consultation with the doctor u choose?
  6. If you go to the top and click on Surgeons and put his name in, when you get to his profile their is a link that says patients and it will show you all the patients he has that are also member of LBT. I hope this helps.
  7. Seems like PB would be kinda risky because its thick and sticky.....Great ideas, especially LB4me - using a cucumber like a cracker..Yummy idea for hummus too with carrots. I love hummus.
  8. Interesting...So did anyone watch it? I guess its the same as using Hypnosis to stop people from drinking and smoking and What happens when they can no longer afford to go to the sessions? which Im sure sessions of hypnosis probably add up to be more than the cost of LB surgery....Just a thought.
  9. I too was what I call a creeper for a long time and finally set up an account....SO many great people on here that are awesome motivators and much needed through this journey. I think we both made the best decision to become a par tof the LBT community! Im excited and Im sure you will be fine. Stay positive and continue to push forward to your goals...Youve been thru a lot and let nothing stop you now! Congrats in advance to you success!
  10. Awesome results Short and Chunky!!!! You are an inspiration despite the slowing down time!Thats a lot to lose its ok to slow down you still could be losing inches. Im sure you know a lot of times when we are eating so healthy and doing the right thing and losing the weight and suddenly it stops and we start to eat unhealthy for a day. That too shocks your body and we often still lose maybe not pounds but inches! Im sure you will get it together and get back on track. Im scheduled to go to my consultation in March....Im excited and motivated to get myself together! Thanks for you motivation and believe me I will keep pushing forward even when I feel like Ive failed I will reach out for support! Happy losing, Im sure you will be back on track :-)
  11. @ Bert, I took full advantage of them and learned a lot even though the procedure is the same with each Dr. they all have a different way of explaining it. Not only that you learn so much more because you learn something new from each one...
  12. Hello all, I finally decided to finally post here..I love love love the support and information on this site. Ive been creeping around for sometime now. I am just getting started with this process. Ive only gotten as far as the Presentaion and this is the 6th one I went to! NOt sure why I attended so many but, I finally chose a Dr. based on information I have researched and also due to the procedure I am interested in (Iband...banded plication). I hope to stay connected and I am sure I will find lots of support here until next time....Keep losing and staying motivated to all that already took that leap. Every moment is a new opportunity to a healthier life....Im excited!
