Ok I got my 1st fill, & it wasn't as bad as I thought at all. I made it much worse in my head. Very positive experience, glad to be on this long path of success. It feels good!

That's good to know. I'm sitting in the office now waiting for 1st fill. Just finished upper gi. I know I just had major surgery, so weird that I feel just as nervous for this piece also. 1st time jitters probably

Thanks for the heads up I had surgery July 25th. Feeling much better now. Does Patterson actually do the fill or one of the pa's? How are you doing on smaller bites? What a bizarre transition to go through, right? Anyway, I'm down to hang or get together any time I'll pm you my number

I'm getting 1st fill at Dr pattersons office next week & wondered the same things. I heard they start off really slow as far as the cc's. I'm pretty damn nervous. Silly thinking I just had a major surgery. Congrats on your success so far

I love this thread! I was just banded July 25th. My husband nicknamed mine "Lil' T" because he says I have a new lil' tummy. Haha that cracked me up & I think I have to keep that nickname

I was banded July 25th as well. Gas pain in my shoulder finally just went away a few days ago. That was awful, but staying positive & so happy to be on this side of the process. (surgery is done!) that being said, I myself have been pretty hungry also. Staying strong and very excited to be be on this bandwagon. This site is great fro support and fellow stories/experiences. Im grateful to have this outlet had a good evening everyone.

Oh my goodness. Tamales...yummy that made my mouth water haha. But I'm about to start mushies so most things sound amazing right now. What a rollercoaster. I'm stoked I took this ride. 41 lbs lost since feb (pre op phase) was banded July 25th. Have a successful day everybody

I'm 1 week post op and feeling the same. My chest feels tight when I breathe too. Unfortionatly for me I am still having shoulder gas pain, which is driving me more crazy than anything else. I hope it all eases soon because it is uncomfy & hard to ignore. We'll get there guys, let's all try to stay positive through this process and remember the goal in mind hope we all have a better day

Hey ladies , I am getting banded on 7/25 as well. So I hear ya on the anxiety part. Just trying to stay positive and just deal with it in the moment as it happens. I'm sure before we know we'll all be sharing our post op stories. Stay positive ladies , were almost there! Enjoy your weekends

Welcome, I'm getting banded next Wed the 25th. This site has been amazing so far for support as well as good info, from such welcoming people. Good luck to you, I cant wait till on the flipside of this procedure. But with the Lbt you never feel alone in it <3 good luck

Awesome, yeah Patterson is banding me. The 25th is coming up quick, eekk . Be glad when it's over how are you feeling? Was it a smooth process? Anyone going to the missisippi street fair today?

I'm on the 25th as well. Im not required to do the 2 week of liquids, though I may do it the week before anyway. Good luck to everybody , I can't wait till I'm on the flipside of this procedure. The anticipation is the worst part the pre op life style change has been great though, lost 24 pounds on my own since February . Just by really clean eating & eliminating anything processed. Have a great weekend guys...
