  1. @JenWes...I also had surgery on Jan. 3 and am down exactly 25 lbs!
  2. Has anyone had period trouble after surgery (late or skipped)? There is no way I am preggo, so that's not a concern. I just haven't had a period since before surgery and was wondering if this is common? I am well past my usual schedule, which is why I am concerned.

  4. Well, I am exactly 4 weeks out today and have been cleared for real food. So, I thought I would make some mini meatballs from turkey sausage...apparently my sleeve didn't care for them. I got two down and then got sick! So, any ideas on what to eat?
  5. I was sleeved on January 3. Up until the past week,I have loved my sleeve. However, for the past week I have been stalled. My starting weight was 263. I have been stuck at 242 for a week! Today, I am supposed to start on regular foods, but I am so worried that it will either prolong my stall or worse, make the scale go up! I know I am new to this, so I am open to any and all advice!
  6. I, too, am at my third week, and your experience sounds a lot like mine. I had no problems after surgery, or any since. I have no problems with liquids or proteins, either. I am a little discouraged today, because this morning the scale was up 2 lbs from my last weigh in. However, I know that I am dangerously close to that time of the month, so I am hoping that the 2 lbs is simply water retention.

  8. Hello everyone! I am new to this forum, but wanted to say hi. I am hoping for some support as i go through this exciting journey! I am scheduled for surgery on January 3, 2012 (new year, new me kind of thing!). I am excited, nervous, etc. Any advice is definitely appreciated!!
  9. My surgery is scheduled for January 3, and I am definitely feeling the pre-op blues. It's like as soon as I got scheduled, I became hyperaware of my size. I am glad that I am not alone in this feeling.
