What Does This Surgery Do To Relationships?
Please do not blame yourself. I doubt things just started up while you were in the hospital - he probably just was more careless since you were not home. He is most likely lying to you about the physical as well. Sorry this has happened to you - please know you are not responsible - he is. If you are considering staying you may want to put a tail on him & see if he is still spending time with her or anyone else & confront the other woman and let her spouse know about this (if she has one). You deserve someone who will respect you & love you with a whole heart. I wish you the best.

Disney Trip Nsv
Thanks! I think you should be ok to go on rides 2 months out -but check with your doctor of course. You'll still be eating mostly soft stuff so you may have to bring your meals.

My First Emotional Breakdown
I had a hard time until about 2-3 months out - now things like people eating fatty foods don't bother me. Mfunny but now I get a little grossed out at what I used to eat. Hang in there it gets so much better!

Disney Trip Nsv
I'm 6 months out & just got back from a really great trip to Disney. At 60 lbs down (halfway to goal) it was so much easier to walk. Last year I had to stop a lot to catch my breath & this year I led the family! The highlight was riding the teacups with my kids. Last year I could hardly get in the teacup (had to basically step over the doorway cause I couldn't fit through it - and my stomach cut into the bar so my kids could not really turn it. This year I had no trouble just walking in, sitting down, & had about 8 inches to spare with the bar. My youngest shouted out "Mama I am so proud of you - your tummy won't slow us down anymore!" and I said "You are so right baby it won't slow us down ever again." Btw I also "released" 3 lbs on this trip! (I don't say lost because I don't want to find it!) I guess from all the walking & extra water! Love me sleeve & changing body!

Weight Gain After Sleeve/gastric Bypass Surgery In 2009
Get your thyroid checked too. I agree with the back to basics post. Drink water & go back to proteins first. Search diva's basics boot camp on this forum- she has tips on that thread. It's a new day - just forget anything gained - don't dwell on that - just start fresh with clean eating today & you'll see progress.

Nsv- Car Shopping
That's awesome! It is nice to know you can get whatever car you want w/o having to think about the size. II drove my husbands truck the other day & he said do you realize you didn't have to adjust the steering wheel? I used to move it up high like a bus to fit in and it still was tight. Now I sit fine with plenty of room. Was a nice NSV!!!

Eating Everything In Site
I felt the same way - just know that you don't need to have a "food funeral" because you will be able to eat the things you enjoy again - you will just want smaller portions. People told me this before survery but I didn't believe it. Being sleeved is different than dieting where you want more but can't have it. I'm content now (5 months out) eating small amounts & feel satisfied. I used to could eat say 3/4 of a large pizza (which is embarrassingand) not even feel full - now one piece does the trick & I only eat about half the crust & mostly scrape off the toppings. My son had his birthday last month - I ate half a piece of cake & it seemed too sweet so I threw the rest away. The old me would have snuck and ate my piece then all of the leftover cake once the guests left. I have 2 big ziplocks of it in my freezer and have not even been temped. It is a blessing - I'm so thankful for this surgery.

My Unexpected Nsv - It Rocked!
That is awesome! It is the best feeling to have someone not recognize you! My son has been on the same little league baseball team 2 seasons & his coach came up to me at the start of this one & shook my hand & introduced himself! I just laughed & said who I was - he was embarrassed but I said don't be you just made my day!!!!
