Trying To Decided Who To Choose!
you might feel like crap at first while you are healing from surgery but in the long run you will feel so much better. this is the trend i see with people who have had surgery. i'm having surgery with dr. aceves in june hopefully. he is the only one i feel 100% confident about.

2.5 Weeks Out, Is This Normal?
i can also imagine the first 10 days you were really taking it a lot easier and now you are starting to be a bit more active because you have recovered from the actual surgery, which might start moving things around inside (muscles etc) and it's gonna ache a bit till it heals completely. hope you are 100% soon! and grats!

Higher Risk Of Complication?
yeah i would think complications of band to sleeve would depend on indiviual scar tissue/damage results etc. so each case is different. i really think strictures and most leaks are not the patients fault but the doctor's technique, IMO. surgical complications like blood clots could be higher if you have clotting issues, infections are kind of a toss up between sterile conditions and luck to me. although i think you take antibiotics after which is good. if you have gerd you need to get on it before and after surgery especially... if you have a hernia hopefully it will get repaired, as i know that can cause GERD etc to be worse before and after surgery, same with gall bladder problems.

12 Days Post Op And Acid Reflux 24/7
if you can get off the tums/rolaids type of stuff, those are notorious for causing rebound reflux. try some eater's digest tea or something with peppermint or licorice in it for the meantime till your meds kick in.

I Disagree With You But...
wow. that's scary. how did your surgery go with all those problems with pneumonia and blood clots etc?

This May Sound Stupid... But I Need An Excuse.
just tell them your stomach is giving you issues and you are having a procedure to fix it. be vague and say you don't know what they are doing exactly. that's what i am gonna say. i don't put misleading info in but purposefully leave info out

Well I Thought I Was Done, But....
if you told her you were at goal to and she said 'it feels great to know you are getting there' maybe she meant that in the sense that it's been a great ride to get to the point you have both come to.

Some people are just UNBELIEVABLE
No doubt! I feel sick inside for those that died. The guy with the pizza. It must be like how when junkies go to rehab and then come out 'clean' and die of an overdose the first time they shoot up. Shows that food addiction is a real disease. I'm sure the person who did that wasn't thinking properly at all. They were completely out of control. That is terrifying.
