  1. Are you almost ready to give us those "sexy reveal" photos??? Looks like your vaporizing before our eyes!!! (the thumbnail is too tiny to see well)
  2. My first two questions were: how much does it cost and can I still have coffee? They said one cup a day after I return home is just fine. Sometimes I have two. For me the caffeine ban was only pre op so as not to have withdrawals while trying to recover from surgery. My surgeon is really conservative all the way around, so i trust his judgement on this.
  3. I am TOTALLY the opposite. I only run when chased, but the elliptical is my friend. It was hard at first, but now I do 25- 30 minutes. Hoping to break that wall soon.
  4. Hey, I was looking at your profile and we are very similar in starting height and weight and goal weight. It's always good to watch someone just ahead of you that is similar, so you can kind of see how things go.
  5. Albuquerque foot hills.
  6. Ice cream is a myth. It doesn't exist. Neither do cookies. I saw this show called Ice Cream Hunters International.....but you know....they have never proven its existence. Might as well forget about it.
  7. Where in New Mexico are you guys?
  8. You can get the bypass around here, but no one does the sleeve. I went to Dallas. I figured if i'm leaving New Mexico for surgery, and paying myself-- I'm getting the best. Dallas has a LOT of good surgeons that do the sleeve.
  9. I was told NO lifting or housework for 2 weeks, only walking and nothing over 25 lbs for 6 weeks, the once out of the main danger zone... Whatever I could tolerate.
  10. Not a single regret 3 1/2 months and 62 pounds down. I did all my freaking out BEFORE surgery. It's been smooth sailing from there. Thank you Jesus!!
  11. AWWW man, I totally missed this post!! Hit that quote button so I'll see it! I'm still up for it whenever!
  12. Cool. I emptied 109 hangers today! PM me with your address and I'll get them boxed up. mschina415- if there are any sizes melissarn does not need, i'll let you know...
  13. Bumping to the top-- they've gotta go!!
  14. Ok folks- I just posted a clothing grab on the clothing exchange area. If you need sizes 32 down to size 26, go over there. Whoever makes the first post on that thread, I'll send 'em the clothes. (There are only 2 size 32 blouses, but lots of 30s and 28s and 26) --danielle
  15. Hey all- if anyone is passing through the 32 down to 26 zone of sizes, i'm cleaning out today. If you'd chip in some money for shipping, I'll send them off to you. Just let me know. (I have no idea how much it will cost to ship, but we'll figure it out;) ) --danielle p.s... keep in mind- I'm 42. They may not be the height of fashion!
  16. Sounds like you're doing great!!

When you eat, do you get pressure behind your eyes, or a slight headache? That's how I started to know when I'm full. I've had trouble determining that too.
  18. DAAAAAAAANG!!!!!! That is CRAZY!! Woo HOo!!!! You men sleevers just sneeze and the weight falls off in chunks!! (at least from what i've seen on here;) ) Good job!!
  19. Plenty of room here on the Loser's Bench! We're waiting' fer ya!!!
  20. Well, the day has finally come that I have to give up my "GOOD" scale. It is the one that has always told me that I am anywhere from 5 to 10 pounds less than EVERY other scale in the world, rendering all other scales garbage. The doctor, the gym, the surgeon...all of their scales are junk. They're broken. Poo poo. Until now. My good scale is a manual dial type scale, that now only registers 5 or 10 pound losses. I can't hang with that. I need to know the daily ounces of my loss or bounce. (I know, I know. I said I'd never do that, but I don't get all freaked out over it anymore.) So....my new, evil Weight Watchers brand scale from Costco says I weigh 287!!! Just like all of those OTHER stupid scales! Nowhere to run- nowhere to hide. This means... {GULP} That I did NOT start at 340, but at....349!! AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! I know, I know...in the grand scheme of things, what's 9 pounds? I've still lost 62 no matter how you cut it. It's just that my starting weight and current weight are, well...shifted up a bit. It's almost like I'm not really who I thought I was!! (insert dramatic music here) HAHAHA Ok, I'm being dramatic for effect, but you get my drift. (BIG SIGH HERE;) Anyway- if anyone has paid any attention to my stats (which a couple of you have mentioned that you have) that's why the change in numbers. I'm finally being forced to face reality. WAAAAHHHH!!!!
  21. dooter69. There are lots and lots of us on there.
  22. I get that too. Usually when I've eaten a couple bites too much. It's like my "full" sensor.
  23. Hmmmm....,you need to find a girl who doesn't give a poo what you like and jumps on your lap and smothers you with kisses!!! Hahaha that could start to desensitize you to it! Make yourself some small "touch goals" and purposely seek to fulfill them and you may find your goals getting more brave as you go. (?)
  24. February peeps and 101driver--How are we doing??
