  1. Try to find Jif low sodium PB cuz the sodium in regular PB is too high. Can be dangerous if you eat too much so eat sparingly. Also fat grams are high in PB. I am 8 months out and just spread a very thin layer on a rice cake ainly just for the taste. Really good but then I started craving two of them every evning. So I stopped buying rice cakes so I wouldn't eat the PB. My doctor says PB is not a good idea because of the fat.
  2. I have never heard of these, but please watch for sodium count in these prepared items. The sodium in them is usually a killer just as in frozen prepared foods and meals.
  3. I found Dr. Krackers Pumpkin and Seed crackers. Thy are. Good size nd don''t tste like much plain, but they re really good with one wedge og Laughing Cow on them. I got mine at Whole Foods.
  4. I buy the pouches of StarKist Sandwich Ready Tuna. It is so good. It is mixed with mayo and very tiny diced cekery for some crunch ( so small you don't have to worry about the trings). I put it on a Wasa craker and 1/2 slice of murnster cheese and tick it under broiler til cheese tarts to melt and you have a great tuna melt. These tune pouches re great. They are 90 calories and the ouch does not have to be refrigerated until after opened. When I am out running errands or will be out awhile, I always take one with me. Just open and eat riht out of he pouch.
  5. You should wait until 12 weeks out at least according to my doctor to have bread, rice, or pasta because they all tend to swell.
  6. Wow what a difference already! Just think how you will look in a few months! Congrats!
  7. You look great! 100 lbs. is a fab loss!
  8. I found the chili oil in the Asian section, but i did not care for it myself. I prefer taco seasoning.
  9. I make won ton cupcakes every Sunday for the week. I have made lasagna, patty melt, cheeseburger, taco, philly cheese steak (with Steakummms) and pastrami! I only use one wrapper in each though even though the carbs are low cuz I have to watch my carbs. i don't know how I ever lived without these cupcakes! The possibilities are endless!
  10. Awesome job! You look great!
  11. I always got in alot of protein. Drank alot of rtd drinks. Did not do any powdered at all. I have always continued to drink at least one 40g pf protein drink daily and still do. I will be 8 months on the 14th.
  12. I have no idea why I had no hair lloss. I asked my doctor about it since I read on here that so many have it, and he said he didn't realize that would happen, that he never heard of any of his patients saying anything about hair loss and he didn't know what would cause it. Other than anesthetic causes it sometimes, but he said that usually happens right away. I have always taken the Bariatric Advantage chewable iron and multi vitamins. I drink almost a gallon of water a day. Never had any complications of any kind.
  13. I started doing some water aerobics and I can't believe the resistance. what a workout. We use the noodles to do some excercises and it is hard. but worth it. A great cardio workout.
  14. I am 8 months out and I must say I never had any hair loss.
  15. I am almost 8 months out. For breakfast i usually have an egg and a Jimmy Dean turkey sausage link, and then some red grapefruit sections from the jar. For snack I have either a cheese stick or Babybel cheese round. For lunch I have ready made Starkist tuna in the pouch on Wasa cracker with cheese under the broiler, or turkey lunch meat with muenster cheese and bread and butter stacker slice. I usuall have about 2 oz. of cottage cheese a day. In the afternoon I have a RTD protein drink that has at least 24 g of protein. For dinner I have 1/2 pork chop or steak, or burger patty, or chicken and some cut up tomato or green vegetable. I hate ground turkey so i always use ground beef. If I make a batch of won ton cupckaes, I usually make the lasagna, patty melt, or cheeseburger ones, and eat those for lunch instead. I really watch my carbs and do not eat bread anymore. I still have trouble getting in 1,000 calories a day. I don't even count calories anymore, mainly watch my carbs. I am at my goal and I weigh everyday to make sure I am on track. Some people don't werigh ever day, but I always have and always will. It works for me. Luv my sleeve!
  16. Are you referring to the cheese crisps? if so, just cut them up and put on parchment paper in microwave. No food processor needed.
  17. I have used three different kinds of wonton wrappers and not one has soy mentioned in the ingredients. What brand is made from soy? I eat them everyday, and I cannot have soy, so I was wondering where you saw that.
  18. I have used three different brands and there are a little over 3 g of carbs in each square wrapper. Look at the amount per serving to be sure you are reading it right. I have never seen any with 18 g. I am definitely a carb watcher.
  19. Made a fresh batch today of cheeseburger cupcakes! Love them. Also made some hot pastrami ones. Cut up some pastrami with kitchen shears and with shredded cheese. My faves are still the lasagna and the PATTY MELT ones I made up I made are to die for. I use only one won ton wrapper on any of my won ton cupcakes cuz I am a carb watching fanatic and they turn out just fine!!
  20. Vlasic Snack Umms dills. Greatbwith turkey meat and cheese. YUM.
  21. Target has them with the baby stuff so WalMart probably does too. Also eat off of a small plate!
  22. I am a little over 7 months out. I was never scared nor had any doubts. I was so ready for this. I was only 60 lbs. overweight, but it was all in my abdomen heading for my heart. I just turned 62 and had to do something. Never had any complications, no hair loss, no pain, or no nausea. I went from a size 18 jeans which werre tight to a size 6. I feel like a different person and am healthier than I probably have ever been. LUV MY SLEEVE!
