  1. He was the assisting surgeon for my surgery
  2. Thanks you guys, I will try to keep track of my calories. That may help. I'm going to try to see a dietitian in a few wks. Is it true, the more u weigh, u loose faster?
  3. My Dr said she was going to refer me to a dietitian. I didn't see a dietitian, only spoke to one over the phone when I was going thru the process. I only got a pamphlet on what to eat and not eat.
  4. I'm trying to figure out why the hell I'm not able to loose this weight. In the beginning I was going to the gym 2-4 days a week for a hr. Still nothing!! Now I'm eating less and not working out but I would think eating less would cause weight loss. My 4th fill is next week, and I'm wondering if I will be in my green zone.I'm still able to eat a little more than a cup of food.
  5. Yes,I think I eat too fast. Atleast not chewing enough. My habit is swallowing food as I chew. When I got my 3rd fill about 5wks ago I was getting stuck everytime I ate. Which I made everything come back up to get relief. Next week I go for the 4th fill, and I'm damn near scared. Not sure if I'll be able to eat.
  6. I just bought the papaya enzymes from GNC. But it seems to be cheaper buying them online.
  7. I just had an episode..I threw up so I could get relief. It hurts so bad that I almost get a headache. I just had my 3rd fill on thursday and started back eating Saturday night. Soft things of course but everything I eat now hurts going down. I thought I was chewing long enough but I guess not. I'm glad I'm not alone. I will be buying some papaya enzymes tomorrow!!!
  8. Well I ate some honey nut cheerios with a little milk. Had no issues!!! I eat the Greek yogurt also but not with cereal. I have to change up what I eat sometimes every few days bcuz I get bored with it.
  9. I'm 6wks post op..and I want some cereal. Is it possible to eat cereal now? Right now I don't feel much restriction so I'm able to eat most things.
  10. I'm 6wks post op and I had my 1st fill on 1/4. I don't have much restriction. I did read that it can take up to several fills to feel restriction. And my appetite is in full force. I still eat small portions.
  11. Ktandnoahsmom: No I'm not in much pain anymore. It's just really sore where I assume its the port site. Today I went out since surgery, to a few stores and the walking seems to help. Each day it gets better.
  12. Thanks y'all. I called the Dr. and was told its normal for me to feel hungry. Friday I will start on protein shakes, since its more fulfilling. So no cream of wheat or pureed soups for me right now. Other than that I feel good 4 days after surgery.
  13. I was banded on Dec 1st and so far each day seems to get better. I'm currently on liquids, as of today I'm feeling hungry. Hunger pains, stomach growling. Is this normal? Can I eat some cream of wheat or pureed soup? Something? I can't see myself on liquids for 2wks.
