  1. These are all great NSV's! Enjoy them, take them in and own them! You are ROCKIN that SLEEVE! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
  2. Typically about 3 weeks! It's most likely your body is adjusting in inches. Have you taken any measurements yet? If not this is a great time to do it! Enjoy your ride.
  3. CONGRATS! You are really ROCKIN that SLEEVE! Can't wait to hear more. XOXOXO
  4. Why am I always hungry? Why am I not losing weight? What is wls? What is NSV? These are just a few. Hope this helps.
  5. Crystal Woods I have a lot of struggles with water. I dilute my water with G2 gatorade and then I can drink more water. I even use the Mio drops or I squeeze a little fruit juice into my water. That was a life saver. It's really important that you up your fluid intake. I use to drink a lot of soup broth for the fluid. I know you know that fluid is important so I'm not trying to be critical, it's just so much easier when we are hydrated. Hang in here and let us know how your doing! Everyone on this site is Rockin their Sleeves! Hugs
  6. I love these inspirational stories! CONGRATS! You are having a wonderful journey to a new confident, happy you!
  7. There's really nothing you can to eat healthy meaning, protein and a lot of water to stay hydrated. It will come off, just give it time, meanwhile relax and enjoy the changes that are taking place right now. It will happen. CONGRATS!
  8. I wouldn't take the cal above 1200. You are doing great! Sometimes it takes us a little longer to get going. I personally believe that a slower weight loss is better than a fast weight loss. I know that I get impatient with myself because I want it now, now, now, and not later. So I have to work on my patience. Your diet looks really good. Maybe stop having a snack in the evening. On most days, I try to keep my cal at around 800 to 900. You are doing great at your point to get in 500. So keep it up, it will happen! Let your body adjust to the trauma of the surgery. Keep doing what your doing and it will come off.
  9. Yes there is a app for this site. It's great.... Congrats on your successes and welcome to the BIG LOSER'S BENCH!
  10. Wow! You are really working your sleeve! Keep it up....
  11. It's probably way too dense for your sleeve at this point. I'd wait a while. At almost 6 months out, my stomach is still picky on foods that are really dense. I had chicken the other day, it was a little dry and my stomach was not too happy. I would be afraid of damaging my staple line and I don't need that to happen. It's all good! I love my sleeve!
  12. Isn't it fantastic to have made such a fabulous transformation? Love it! Keep Rockin that Sleeve!
  13. CONGRATS! I love all your NSV's! Love our SLEEVES!
  14. Our sleeves can be very picky at times and even scary. Hope you can find a way to get some more protein in. Let us know how your doing.
  15. I'm so sorry your scared. Can you tell us what your eating, how much, how often, are you exercising? We can give you more information if you can fill us in on these question areas.
  16. I know that this won't be very easy for you, but get out of bed, get dressed, eat lunch, and take a walk. Your right, this is depression talking. Don't listen to your internal dialogue, just start walking. You will start to feel better I promise. Call a friend are right more on this post about how your feeling. Depression is a chemical embalance in your brain. By becoming more active, you will start to feel a lot better. Please let us know how your doing.
  17. Sirensiren: How much weight have you lost? Just curious. I like this topic, it is a question I've been having.
  18. Thank you so much Tammy. I will look at you myfitnesspal and check it out. Looking forward to some feedback.
  19. Gbatman! Have a great trip to Florida! You have earned this in more ways than one. This is a great NSV. Your grand children see you as a role model and want to have loads of fun with you. Keep Rockin!
  20. I am so excited for you Lynda and Forensikchic! CONGRATS! Now that weight is slower to come off, like at a stand still, can I ask what your diets look like? I am so stuck and I thought that if I upped my calorie intake, it would jolt the weight loss to happen. And it hasn't happened yet! So I really respect the experts on this site who have been successful. You can see my diet on Myfitnesspal.com with my usernane: dorrierobles2003. Any feedback would be helpful. I have been pretty adamant on logging up until friday and then I left town for the weekend. The mountains were absolutely beautiful. Thanks
  21. Emotional eating really sucks. You are going a great job! Keep it up! I love SF jello pudding!
  22. I am 5'6" tall and I have slowed to a halt my weight loss. This weekend I was just so frustrated that I decided have a free weekend. So I allowed myself to have half of my hubby's sandwich, in which I discovered that the wheat bread tasted horrid so I discarded it. Today I ate a bag of chili fritos! So disappointed in my choices. So tomorrow I will be on The Basic bootcamp diet. Anyways, I would like to lose about 20 more lbs and I am waiting to see if by the increase in calories, that I may start a weight loss. Anyways, we can do this, it just might take a little longer. After all, this is not a race, it is a life style change. I need to stop making stupid decisions and eat non-processed foods and veggies.
  23. I am totally disgusted by eating out with my hubby. He eats, and eats, and eats, and he eats really fast. He reminds me of a vulture waiting for my left overs. i feel kinda guilty because he is a very supportive, sweet, husband. But he's also diabetic with high chlesterol and blood glucose is out of control.
  24. I had to clean my closet out too. It was painful because some of the cloths were new and some I really liked a lot. Oh well, out with the old, in with the new. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
