  1. I no longer have colitis, nor constipation! I have about 4/6 small BMs a day and do not have gas in a farting way....TMI Good health to you too!
  2. Thanks for sharing your story and for all the info. I'm sorry to hear you have Ulerative Colitis, it's an awful disease. I had it and landed up having my colon removed and new reservoir and rectum constructed. That was 6 years ago and long before banding. My mom had colitis as well and had to take potassium and magnesium, but my doctor never mentioned it to me, I was on large doses of prednisone to try to put me into remission but it never worked. That’s why I had my colon removed. I've had remarks asking if not haveing a colon would help in weight loss? Not that I've noticed. Do you think haveing Ulerative Colitis "speeds" up your weight loss, mal-absorbiton? Wishing the best to you.

Bernadette I had what’s called a super-cervical hysterectomy. My doctor went in though the incision of both of my 2 C-sections (scars are on top of each other) and only removed my uterus. I choose to keep my ovaries and cervix since nothing is wrong with them. She also removed the old scar tissue from the C-sections and gave me a very fine 4” bikini line. I made the comment to my doctor just before surgery, How bout a tummy tuck while your there? She said it’s been done before, that if we were to have arranged it; it would have been possible… You will be knocked out for this one, not like having babies! That was done on 7-13-05, 2 days after my 46th birthday. I could have been back to work a week later but the doc wouldn’t let me, 6 week leave mandatory. I’m very happy to not have that monthly pain anymore, which was the biggest issue. My craps were unbearable; I was a mess emotionally and physically for a week every month. I was one to swell up and gain weight just before that time of the month, but since then I’ve lost about 7 lbs. . I feel free Best Luck to you

  12. I was just thinking about that earlier today Those demons, our day to day life... I say "what's next" to stop the train and get off. I feel so close to goal but so far from comfort and true happiness. We'll always be fighting, once something is fix, another will break. On another note, were you able to enjoy your bike this pass summer?

  18. Glitter, Have you called Dr. Sanchez? I know you were given a card with his number on it, I can let you know if you can't find it. Also Alma or Dr. Suesanna. Not saying Dr. Sanchez won't suggest you go see him right away, cause that's what he aways says to me. But if you have another doctor for him to talk to...I have had Dr. Sanchez talk directly to my doc here. Sorry you had to go through this. Some doctors don't realize we know our own bodies. Keep sipping. keep us posted.

  23. I just noticed Dr. McKeen's web-sight isn't coming up for me??? his number is 408-402-9911.
  24. Hello Mickey There is so much "lowdown" on AnneMarie but I won't go there. Please beware, she will charge you for her services! You have many doctor options...Dr. Sanchez(www.ready4achange.com) and Dr. Rumbault in Monterrey Mx. Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Kuri in Tiajuana Mx. These are the only Mexico' doctors I would recomend. Most of these surgeons have simular services for about 8K. Personaly I would not let any nurse provide a fill for me. In Ventura there is Dr. Billy and in San Jose there is Dr. McKeen(www.southbaybariatrics.com). Dr. McKeen has a Utah office and will preform surgery for 14K there. The cost of Ca hospitals is greater than in Utah. Good luck, research, and welcome to LBT
