HEY THERE "LIPSTICK" :welcome: I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SUGGEST THAT SINCE YOU ALREADY KNOW YOU HAVE A FATTY LIVER, THEN YOU SHOULD TRY TO LOSE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. CAUSE IF YOUR LIVER IS TO FATTY WHEN THEY GET IN THERE...THEY WILL POSTPONE YOUR SURGERY. CAUSE IF YOUR LIVER IS TO FATTY IT CAN BE REALLY BAD AND TO DIFFICULT FOR THE SURGEON. I PERSONALLY KNOW 3 DIFFERENT LADIES THAT HAVE BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO A FATTY LIVER. F.Y.I...... BUT OTHER THAN THAT YOU AND I SHOULD BE HAVING SURGERY AROUND THE SAME TIME...LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY MICHELLE

TRUST ME...YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW.....THE PAIN AND THE PRESSURE ARE BAD...IT'S CAUSE WHEN YOU HAVE THE SURGERY THEY ACTUALLY "INFLATE" YOUR ABDOMIN TO GET IN THERE EASIER.... NO BUENO!

Wow With kaiser we are instructed to eat 5-6 small meals a day. like 1/4 - 1 cup and sip sip sip sip Water. but i don't think your wrong for wanting that lil cookie or whatever just as long as it doesn't become a daily habit, i would think you should be ok. Good luck michelle

hi ms diva and welcome 3 i to am Vitamin D deficiant. all i have to do is take a pill every am and then once a week a take a bigger pill! that's it nothin to it. BUT, with Kaiser it has to be controlled b4 surgery fyi michelle

HI CHELLE I ALSO AM 5'8" AND 252LBS...PRETTY CLOSE TO YOU. MY BMI TOGGLES BTWN A 38-39. BUT, I AM MORE DETERMINED THAN EVER TO DO THIS SURGERY ....FOR MYSELF.... THIS IS WHAT I WANT...NOT MY HUSBAND OR KIDS OR ANYONE ELSE...IT'S WHAT I MUST DO FOR MY HEALTH..FOR MY HAPPINESS & WELLBEING.
