Good Morning Girls. The sun is shining like crazy today and it is supposed to get up to 43 degrees. Yippieeeeeee. Above the 40's mark. Doesn't take much to make me happy. Last night BIL and I went to see Avatar in IMax 3D. I loved it more the second time. It was awesome. I have never seen a movie in IMax. So this morning I wake up with a headache. Go figure. I think it was the glasses that caused it. But we so enjoyed the whole experience. Hubby and I just got back from the gym and I took a quick shower and than started the laundry. I have alot of little things I need to get done today. And it's our night to work at the hospital. Tracy, I wish I had info for you to help you out with Macy. But here is my contribution. I will keep her in my prayers and also you and Frank. Keep your chin up and a smile on your face. Kat, when is Rick coming home???? I'll check in soon.

That's so sad but I bet your right. I wouldn't count on that check but if you get it, think of it as a bonus.

Tracy, I don't know that much about it but I do know that Tom Cruise and Cher also suffer from it. You would be amzaed at the amount of people that have some form of it. I don't blame you for giving your 2 week notice. Macy does need your attention. It will be interesting to find out what the therapist recomends for her. Praying for you guys. Sitting here trying not to fall asleep. owever I will be taking a nap soo. BIL and I didn't go to the movies last week so we are going this evening. It's gonna be a long day. Guess I'll get up and get my work done so I can nappy for a few.

Hey Girls. Kat, that has to be frustrating. But like you said, the damage is done. I was just go in with a big smile on my face and keep telling him that Papa and you love him and want him to have a great day. I've had a really productive day. Went to work, to the bank, to WW's. Home, mopped the kitchen floor. Made a salad for lunch. Hubby and I drove to the Mall to get a few things. Now home finishing up watching the closing Ceremonies. In about an hour I'll be headed next door to go chat with the neighbor. Than I have class tonight. WW's was ok. There wasn't anyone there that I knew, but when I was there before it was on a Tuesday. It will take a little getting used to this new leader. She is pretty funny though. Hubby wanted to know if I was still on a mission to lose 50 pounds by the time we leave for Calif. Ummm, yes. That should put me under my brothers weight. Wow, won't that be cool for me. I've never been smaller than him. Hope all is well with everyone.

Jenn, I've heard them say that the last 10-15 is the hardest to lose. Hopefully it won't be for you. You seems to have a good track record of losing good. i just hope you find that gumption again.

It turned out to be a really nice day here. I'm holding out hope for an early spring. I had a Junk Day. That's what I have eaten all day. Sis came up for dinner and asked about the oranges on the counter, wanted to know if I had tried one yet. Ummm, can't eat something healthy if your full of junk. Good thing I'm thinking of joining WW's tomorrow. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I pulled a ham bone out and boiled and I have the beans soaking. Ham and beans and corn bread later today. Anyone want to come over for dinner? Oh, I almost forgot. I have to dice up some onion. A must for me. It's supposed to get up to 41 today and then dip the next few days. But by the weekend it's supposed t be in the mid 40's again. I'm loving it. So ready to get the pool open again. Right Jenn?

I had my hysterectomy about 10 years ago due to bleeding tumors. They tokk everything, all my eggs and everything else. So if they end up taking your eggs you will not go thru menopause. But I did take premarin(sp?) for about 4 months afterwards. I had a hard time regulating. I took it long enough and finally the doc said I could ween myself. I'm telling you right now, best thing that ever happened to me. Even though I was in my 30's at the time, I would still do it again. Hubby and I went and saw Brooks and Dunn last Sept. and I highly recommend to anyone that if you have the chance to go see them. Awesome, so much energy. I'm such a huge Gorgeous George fan and Hubby has a crush on Reba. Out of the rest of the line up I would recommend Tby, he is great in concert. I have never seen Lady A and would love to go see them. Went with neighbor and her kids today to Fazoli's for lunch and sure enough, I ate to much. Almost started to PB right at the table, I was able to get it under control but ended up with the hiccups. The were so loud. We all laughed really hard about it. So her skinny little 10 year old daughter and I headed to the bathroom. She got there first and went into the handicap stall. So I start to go into the other one and it was barely big enough for me to turn around and pull my pants down. I made the remake about how small it was and she said that is why she took the one she was in. I asked if she was almost done and she said yes but I had to go so bad and couldn't wait. I sat down and went and hardly had the room to wipe myself. We giggled about it all the way back to the table.

Only just a few times have I been lucky enough to be the first delivery of the day. It makes the whole experience a little nicer. Hope you enjoy the bed and that you have lots of sleepful nights. Tracy. I am such a people watcher. One reason I like to go to ball games. They are so facinating. Just to see all the different kinds of people. Kat, you'll be a happy girl next week when Rick says he's coming home. Sometimes I like when hubby is away for a little bit. Maybe a day or 2 but any longer and I freak out. I know I can exist without a man, I just don't want to. I think my neighbor and I are going to the local HS basketball game tonight, maybe.

Morning Girls. Kat, you have such wonderful insight. That's what I love about you. And you have such a way with words. I always seem to jumble it up and juts can't put into words what I'm feeling in my heart. Jenn, I'm so happy to be reading your great post. You sound so much better now than in the past. Looks like you might be headed in the right direction. Good luck and I hope things work out for you in court and with Billy. And I'm glad to hear about you making amends with your neighbor. Life is to short to live it with hatred in your mind or heart. Tracy, If you get a chance, go to the rodeo. You'll have a good time. And the people watching is awesome. Right now I'm getting ready to get on to ticketmaster to try to get tickets to see George Strait and Reba in concert. Wish me luck. Be back soon to let you know how it went.

Michelle, I agree with Kat. I would let it drop now that you have apologised. Hopefully they will also. When everyone gets together if it brought up again by them then you know that they are not someone that you really want in your life. Who knows you guys might end up all being good friends some day. I have one of theose one sided people in my life. It's my older sister. She is constantly at the Doctors or is reminding us how much pain she is in. I do understand pain and know what it feels like, she just acts like she is the only one who has it and that no one cares. She calls all the time to tell us what her ailment for the day is and never once asks us how we are doing. Right now she has no idea about my condition as I have chosen not to tell her at this time. I need to know exaclty what they are going to do with me before I tell her. But I can tell you right now that when I do tell her that she will somehow turn it back over to a whoa is her thing. How sad it will be that she can't rely on me to take her to her appointments or shopping or whatever else she needs. What cracks me up when she calls me is she always tells me that no matter what it is that "she will be just fine". Don't worry, I'll be fine. LOL. Does it look like I am worried, LOL? Isn't life wonderful.

Sitting here getting get caught up on American Idol from last night. One of the girls we work with at the hospital texted me to let me know that they only have 2 surgeries and that if we wanted to stay home that it would be ok. Well you know it doesn't take much for a guy to say he will stay home. So here we are. Got my houswork done and I will just spend the rest of the day getting caught up with stuff on my TiVo. Tracy, it's up to 17 degrees now. Looking for a high of 23. That pool is looking better to me each passing day. Before we know it I'll be floating.

Michelle, I think I have heard that about B-12 before. I guess I need to read up some more on it. But I bet you can't wait till your bed is all put together and you can relax and feel comfortable on it. Just and old lazy day here. I took a little nap and it felt good. BIL and I are not going to the movies tonight. He's home sick and I'm not going around him. Be back soon.

Home from work and I can not get warm. Seriously. I'm shivering. I brought it up with my Doc and he had my Thyroid checked and all is ok there. I have 2 thermal underwear shirts on and a t-shirt. Crimany. I had a bowl of Fiber-One cereal for breakfast and I really liked it. Had a wonderful taste to it. It's better that Kashi.

Ewwwww, it's 11 degrees out and I have to go into work. Looks like it will be a 4 layer day. LOL. The reason Hubby and I went to the Docs is because when I went to pick up our meds, our co-pay had went up to $25.00 a piece for brand name. We decided we would ask him if he could give us generic. One of hubby's he said he could but didn't think it would be as good. It's his Crestor. So we are going to try the generic for 3 months and see how it goes. I know we shouldn't girp about the $25.00 but when you are retired and on a budget, you have to watch every penny. The nuerotin(sp?) was given to me when I had my toes operated on about 5 years ago. The Doc who did it never took me off of it and I really haven't been back to see him. So this Doc said since it was so long ago and that is was such a low dose that he didn't see why I couldn't come off of it. My Band Doc took me off of the Metformin the day I had my surgery. Yesterday Doc took me off Actos. That just leaves my Glipizide to take. My last 3 A1C test have all been right around the 5.5 mark. Good enough to take me off one more med. And than I have my kidney med to take. So I'm down to 2 meds now. Happy Me. Looks like my BIL and I are going to the movies tonight. He has been wanting to see Avatar. I loved that movie and would like to see it again. The only thing is that it doesn't start till 7:40pm. That would put us home around 11pm. To late for me. lol. So I think we are going to see the 3D IMAX showing at 6 pm. This will be neat. I have never been to a IMAX movie. He's also not sure if he is going to use the wheelchair or the crutches. I told him to use both. Wheel in and than park it at the front and than use the crutches to climb about half way up. There is still swelling in his stump and until they can get that down, he can't go in and get fitted for a new leg. OK, off to go dry my hair and than to work. I'll be back soon.

Back from my outing. Good news from the Doc. He took me off one of my Diabetes meds. That's off 2 and 1 more to go. He also took me off of one other one. That puts me at just 2 meds a day now. Woot Woot. While I was in the Docs office my hone rang and it was the Dentist office wanting to know where I was. LOL. Seems they told me the wrong time. I said I would be there just as soon as I finished with the Doc. So I make it over to there and he said he could fix the filling in a jiff. Ya know when they say that you should always be prepared. It ended up being a little bit more than that. So I'm back to normal now. lol. Well it was 3 o'clock by the time we got out and hubby said lets go to SidePockets and play some pool and get some lunch. We had a really good time and enjoy the relaxation. Now it's Jammy time and Olympics and off to bed early.

Crap, crap. I get up, come out and turn the TV on and check the school closings. Nope, I have to go into work. So I go in take a shower, come out feed the cats, fix my hot cocoa. Check in, sitting here waiting to go dry my hair and they finally announce that schools are closed. Why couldn't they have said that 45 minutes ago, I could have went back to bed. Oh well, I'll take it anyway. So you guys have me today till it's time for my Do appointment at 1 and my Dentist appointment at 1:45.

Morning Girls. I'm finally checking in. All is fine here. Just cold and some ice and snow. Schools aren't closed so I have to go into work. I'm really thinking that when I get off work that I will head over to WW's and join. They are still having free joining so that might be part of my inspiration. I'm hoping this will help me get back on track also. Worked on the last of the quilt yesterday and got it finished. I'll turn it in soon and I think I'll try to get one more done. That will be it because then I have to get started on my next project. I'm doing a counted cross stitch for my niece's wedding. Made some chicken noodle soup yesterday and couldn't stay out of it. I think I ended up having 3 bowls thru the day. It tasted so good. Lots of veggies in it. Yummy. Kat, hope Rick stays safe on his work outing. I'll check in later. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
