Hello again for some reason my blog entries arent posting probably because I m doing something wrong so I will try again and start w/ my journey 15 days post op thats right 2 weeks and about 18 pounds but half of that i lost before surgery but its still a loss, I moving on down and feel great I had a real easy recovery back up and doing the norm 3 days out, little gas pain but I do have other medical problems that remind me of pain like a bad kneew I am hoping when getting this weight off will imorove but my ortho says probaly not, so walking more than 20 min. for me is very ruff can't do it knee flares up and then I m 2 days out, anyways I count my blessings because I fought long and hard w/ insurance to pay for this surgery and I feel so blessed I finely got it so I am embracing it as my last chance, yesterday I actuly tried on a old beatles t-shirt that fit like a gloove 2 years agp so I stopped wearing it and guess what it fit with room to spare I was so happy I cried really I cried, such a small thing to others but to me a huge accomplishment till next post chow thanks for reading and I hope it posts this time.

I haven't really moved on to meals yet I m on mushes somewhat but healing from dental surgery

I was starving too and I ate fast and didn't chew enough and I will never do that again it hurts and is scared now I don't want to eat and not starving like I was

hey its me insane jane got banded on the 15th. everything went great feel good but haven't lost anything gained weight as a matter of fact and I am hungry alot can you bandsters tell me if you went that direction also up not down boy am I bummed but I have to stay positive and believe in the process I know I shouldn't compare t those that dropped weight their first week but its hard not too.

Mine took 8 months and 2denilesa but my doc got it through accuses some how thank God and tomorrow is my surgery and I am scared I have failed so many times before I have to make this work for me I m so miserable and un healthy st the weight does everyone feel scared they wont succeed st this before they do it?

I do it too and last night put a rope around the fridge and cut it off and did it anyways next is a bike chain I have taken ambient for 2yrsme and can't sleep without it but did it before ambient I m getting banded on ties and scared I will fail because of this problem it has been a issue for years have will power during the day

he really didn't ask me to do anything but not gain any weight for six months do heart tests liquid diet for 48 hours pror to surgery and the normal six month check and nutrision class and phyc eval

thx to all that sent me notes of encoragment I just read them found them by fluke not sure how to navigate on this site yet so I was sure happy to hear from you

Hi my name is jane and I am being banded on nov. 15th. I can't wait I have been sad and lonely for years because of my obesity I am 55 and scared a little about the surgery and recovery but I feel like this is my last shot at getting healthy and living a normal life so in that respect I can't wait has anybody else on here had Dr. simpson in AZ. do there band I really trust him but he hasn't put me through a battery of test like I hear from other people and I am now wondering why, anyways I am looking at this forum for support and hope that I can make some educated banded friends insanejane
