I keep track on the Wii fit. It also graphs my weight and bmi, also allows me to set my goals....as well as workout. It has always been accurate, and weighs down to the nitty gritty as you put it.

Tom And Able To Eat More?
So ladies....have you noticed that when your tom comes you are able to eat more? I have been sleeved for 8 months now and every time it comes I am able to eat more, and find myself craving junk food more. I really have a hard time saying no to the little voice in my head that say's come on lets eat some junk. Right after I am done with it I lose a ton of weight, and it doesnt come back....so that is good, but I am just wondering if it is all in my head, or are there other women out there like me?

Why Did You Choose Sleeve Vs Gastric Bypass?
I wanted to get healthy and I felt with all of the complications and vitamins and supplements that are required to be taken after bypass that it just wasnt healthy. I also have a few friends that had the bypass and they lost the weight so fast that their skin was just hanging off of them and they really looked sick instead of thin. I am so glad I chose the sleeve!

A Stall Can Break Your Spirit
This happens to everyone. I know it is hard to see past a stall, but it will happen. What is going on is you are losing fat, and your body is replacing it with water and the exercise is creating new muscle, which we all know weighs more than fat. You need to measure your body with a tape measure and record that...I am willing to bet that although the scale isnt moving.....the inches are still coming off. Keep your spirits up.....it will start to move again!

4 Days Post Op Food And Exercise Question
If you feel up to light exercise right now then you should do what you can handle. As far as gaining weight, I doubt that you would be able to consume enough to gain anything right now. good luck! and congrats on your sleeve!

From Morbidly Obese To Overweight!
Hey everyone...I weighed in today and for the first time my lovely Wii told me I am overweight! hehe. When I started this journey I was morbidly obese....and felt like death was chasing me. Now I am just overweight and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...and it isnt death...lol So happy to just be overweight now! cant wait till I am normal weight!

Am I On Track?
I hope so, i'm not sure....the weight has been coming off alot slower now the smaller i get. I also have to work alot harder at it too. I find that even though I am losing slower people notice a lot more of what I lose now.

Week 7! Very Slow Loser
dont worry ladies, there are several beni's to losing slowly. skin has a chance to shrink, your hair doesnt fall out, and it isnt as much of a shock to your system. you will get there, just be patient. good luck!

Dumping Syndrome
Very important to know everything that can happen.....also know that it is very uncommen in the sleeve. I have never had this happen to me. I dont ever watch carbs or sugar. The thing that would be good to try if you are having this is to make sure to avoid the foods that cause it for you.....and slowly add them back in.... if you try something and it causes the symptoms, dont have it for a while, then try again at a later date. your stomach is like a baby's right after surgery, gotta take it slow. good luck to all!

Cravings!

Is It True
you can look at my before and afters and see how solid my belly was before surgery and now how dimpled it is after. it has gotten better with exercise though. I have noticed one improvement with my skin.... I used to have little pimple like dots all over my arms and legs.....those are completly gone now, and my skin feels so smooth and soft. I love that.
