  1. Thank you for the insight and congrats on your success.
  2. Is purade meaning full liquids to you or food in the blender? Just curious because I am on full liquids; soups, pro shakes , ect. and I get full but it all goes down pretty well. I am 11 days out.
  3. My screen name is my first name spelled backwards.... Stacey
  4. Hang in there. It sounds like you are right on track and doing wonderful.
  5. Although you should not use a straw... I was told any thing that sits out and that could be sucked through a straw is a liquid.
  6. You are not bursting my bubble, you can't.
  7. Wow, I am a server also and I would know way go back to work so soon. Not only because I think I would get really fatiqued but my job requires a lot of lifting of trays and sometimes bus tubs. I would be afraid of getting a leak. Be very careful. If your employer knows then return to light duty but if not do not chance it. People get leaks even after surgery.
  8. I was there on Feb 4th. I had better care there than ever here in the States. Also, I would recommend finding a coordinator that is located IN MEXICO, if you are that concerned. Like others have said before me when using a coordinator you don't have to deal with the fear for someone is carrying you through . I would of felt the same way if I did not have someone to walk me through. PM me and I will share the details and my personal experience with my coordinator.

I absolutely love this post. I also love your spirit and your style in writing. You are creative and sensitive and most importantly a child of the most high. Bless you lady and continue to honor Him as you do. :smile1:
  10. Remember protein first then carbs makes a full and happier sleeve.
  11. So happy for you. Welcome to the loser's club!
  12. Good for you. If you mess up on pre op, mess up with eating high protein. Your tremendous will power to not give in will carry you a long way through out your sleeve journey. keep up the good work.
  13. I wish you the best. Do not get discouraged and keep trying. Prayers sent your way!!!
  14. Lucky Ducky, I can not wait! lol
  15. Here is his phone number 619 395 5347 I reached him via email: jrkelly45@hotmail.com Two things, that is coming from a coordinator for whatever reason does not book for him. If that is the case then so be it, should she unprofessionally smear him. He is certified in the states as well, he would be stripped of his license if he was not capable. Also, just say a dr. does 100 surgeries, he might have maybe 0 or 1 issue, if you do 1000 (more experienced) you might tend to have 2 or 3 issues. two, we have had a surgeries with him. He is caring , compassionate and strives to know your well. I am tickled with him!
  16. I love love love your NSV! Congrats!!!!
  17. That is funny you ask that... I was wondering the same thing. I am sure a week is fine but I feel kind of weak and it has been ten days today for me and I am a little nervous. I must say I do live in a moderately busy part of town, lot of congestion so ... I plan on waiting. Just started full liguids today, hoping to feel more energized soon.

Hi, I was sleeved on Feb4th, I start full liquids tomorrow. I can not wait to drink Muscle milk and soup. I am so excited. Thanks for the heads up on the beans. I was thinking about putting some in the blender and adding water so it has the consistancy of a soup, probably bad idea. I have a weird kind of "ache" right in the center of my stomach, about4 in above my belly button. It is not even on an incision, just strange and sometimes uncomfortable. I think it is all the changes we are going through. I had those with different surgeries.. I do not think I would worry only if your look red or irratated. I have been feeling blahh for the last two day, due to lack of nothing to eat. Congrats on the weight loss. I am down 13 since surgery. 26 since I started pre op diet. I am tickled.
  19. Wow, You can really seel how every Dr. plan is different. I am 10 days out tomorrow and just starting full liquids. I am not hungry at all but do lack the energy. So I am excited about starting this phase. I What keeps me there is wanting to give my stomach time to heal from the staple line inside. I am afraid to eat more... all though I must say I am a little jealous. eggs and taco meat w/ cheese sounds yummy.
  20. You can purchase videos to workout in your home for strength/resistance training. That would be a start.
  21. Oblviosly your not doing to bad. Your stats are awesome. Congrats on hitting goal, less a lb. Probably get there by the time you read this..lol. What an inspiration you are.
  22. Will do, I will check it out now, thanks.
  23. Dear Kathy, You sound like a wonderful and compassionate woman. I admire your commitment to your husband. I also admire how you recognize that you are not the only one in pain. Sometimes we only see our own discomfort. I know you said that your husband would probably have a fit if he knew you posted personnal things about your relationship online, my husband would also. Yet, I think if I was you I would share both of those posts that you have written. They showed your sincerity and mostly the love and commitment to your husband. He might get upset but eventually would he see how inlove with him you are? Your words moved me. You and your husband are in my prayers.
