  1. Hello - I need help. I am close to two years out and have recently put on ten pounds. I am not sure how to diet using the conventional tools as the calorie requirements are too high. I bought one of the Biggest Loser books but those calories are also too high. Anytips and suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

    Disappointed...

    I am days away from my one year anniversary and i have lost only 68 pounds post op (85 total) i know that i will never see those pounds again and i an happy about that...and i am the smallest i've been in about 20 years, i am wearing a size 12 pant and medium top...and happy about that...but i thought by a year i would be MUCH farther along...

    Disappointed...

    I am at 185-ish right now and i am 5'8"..so i was thinking another 10-15 pounds? According to those stupid BMI charts, in order for me to be at at a normal weight, i should weigh 164! Way too low! So i think my "goal" is 170-175..good?

  16. Lets see where do i start? I woke this morning to weigh 2.5 pounds more than i did last week! My kids really ran me ragged...tantrum city is where I lived today! I did not stop eating today, have bot exercised in two days and but wait there is more, are 4 pieces of chocolate today! Reallt ready to just give up on the sleeve!

    I LOVE the Special K Protein! One serving has 10 grams of protein and when you add 1/2 cup of mil you have about 15 grams of protein for breakfast! Very low carb too!

    I hit 199.6 today...i am really happy but....i am 7 months out and have lost only 56 pounds since surgery..i lost 17 pre op for a total of 73...8 pounds per month does not seem good...

  23. It has been six months for me and i am not even at 50 pound loss yet...am i eating too much? Too little? Here is a sample day: B: 3/4 special k Protein Cereal (it is low fat low carb and 10 gr protein) + 3/4 cup skim milk+ small banana S: turkey pepperoni and cheese stick L: chicken with salad + l/f dressing S: chobani n/f yogurt D: 3-4 ounces lean protein + veggies or fruit S: s/f fudge pop (35 calories) I generally drink 65-80 ounces of Water every day Too much? Too liitle? Would exercise help? I am really starting to think this is it for me and I have not even gotten into one-derland yet...(7 pounds away..) Help, I am feeling really sad and discouraged...

When I do exercise, I feel really good..it is just getting myself to do it...I really have no excuses...we have a full gym at our apt compelx , I am home by 5 pm and my energy level is good..throughout hte day I talk to myself about exercising when I get home and am really positive about it...just when I get home that all goes out the window and I don't do it...I feel like it was back in the dieting days where we would tell outselves.."tomorrow I will diet" or "just one more_____"...maybe it is more pyshcological then I realize?
  25. Thanks everyone..I guess I just feel that I shouldn't have to exercise given that I have had 85% of my stomach removed! but, that is why I say that this is my wake up call! It was my misconception that the weight would just fall off and I would not to do any exercise, which I hate...I guess I know it will help, I just do not understand why I will not do it!
