  1. It has been six months for me and i am not even at 50 pound loss yet...am i eating too much? Too little? Here is a sample day: B: 3/4 special k Protein Cereal (it is low fat low carb and 10 gr protein) + 3/4 cup skim milk+ small banana S: turkey pepperoni and cheese stick L: chicken with salad + l/f dressing S: chobani n/f yogurt D: 3-4 ounces lean protein + veggies or fruit S: s/f fudge pop (35 calories) I generally drink 65-80 ounces of Water every day Too much? Too liitle? Would exercise help? I am really starting to think this is it for me and I have not even gotten into one-derland yet...(7 pounds away..) Help, I am feeling really sad and discouraged...

  3. Good Morning...what is everyone eating for breakfast? I get tired of eating cold foods (yogurt, cottage cheese) anyone eating oatmeal? (not worried about the carbs?) thanks everyone!

  5. Oh thank you thank you for letting us know it is possible! I am at 4 1/2 months and have only lost 44 pounds post op ( 17 pre op) and am sure that i will never see onederland! Thanks for making me a believer! I am at 211 now so it is right around the corner!
  6. Any suggestions or tips? It usually strikes around 8 pm or so while watching tv... In the past, i would have ice cream or cookies.. Thanks!
  7. While I dont rely on them, i like to grab them in a pinch..however they all have either rice or pasta. I am not doing carb-free but just wondering if anyone has found good frozen meals that are not full of pasta and rice?
  8. My caloric intake is between 850 and 950 and protein is between 65 and 75 grams
  9. I am 3 months out and currently weigh 225. I work full time. Since surgery, i have little to no energy. I take a vitamin every day and B12 once a week . So tired every day which i know is having an effect on my weight loss because i am too exhausted to exercise. Any thoughts, tips and suggestions would be appreciated.

  12. I am 11 weeks out and have lost only 28.5 pounds..i know that is 2.5 pounds per week but i anticipated much more by now...I do not count calories, protein or anything for that matter...no real exercise to speak of.. Do i need a jump start and if so, how? Thanks
  13. Gosh now i really feel bad, i was sleeved on 9/12 and lost only 25 pounds and i have been having "buyers remorse" for weeks! What if this is all I lose???
  14. 2 months out and nervous/anxious about Thanksgiving...all the food etc...any survival tips from the veterans out there?
  15. Oh good, i am not alone! I was sleeved on 9/12 and have lost only 23 pounds (and 17 pre op) weight loss is slow but everything is like a tent on me! I did not want to go shopping this early but my pants are falling down plus i think it will make me ceel better to have some clothes that actually fit!
  16. I was sleeved on 9/12/11 and did not get my period from april 2011 untl last month (10/25 to be exact) before surgery, i went to the dr and all my hormones were normal.. I started back on the pill about 5 weeks ago...now, not even two weeks since my last period i am spotting again, is this normal? I asked the dr if my period stopped due to my weight and she said maybe but not likely..so i am wondering if it started again due to pill and weight loss ( i have lost only 22lbs post and 17 pre) thanks everyone!

  21. 6 weeks out and no real exercise to speak of...i know i should but....i am upset and scared that i am not motivated...help!
  22. I have already had well cooked broccoli and cauliflower without a problem...will i have enough room for fruit and veg and still be able to get 60 g protein? Where can i find sample meals?
  23. 6 weeks out and moving to regular food on sunday, what fruits and veggies will I be able to eat?
  24. On sunday, I get to move to "regular" food...how do you keep it balanced but still getting in all of your protein? I am dying for any kind of fruit or some salad but i barely have room for the 60 grams of protein! HELP!!
