Irrgeular period?

I was sleeved on 9/12/11 and did not get my period from april 2011 untl last month (10/25 to be exact) before surgery, i went to the dr and all my hormones were normal.. I started back on the pill about 5 weeks ago...now, not even two weeks since my last period i am spotting again, is this normal? I asked the dr if my period stopped due to my weight and she said maybe but not likely..so i am wondering if it started again due to pill and weight loss ( i have lost only 22lbs post and 17 pre) thanks everyone!

My periods pre-op were normal for the most part. Sometimes they came a few days early but not too bad. Well Since surgery (8-31) I had a normal period in September then in Ocotber had a normal one mid month then 2 weeks later I started spotting and cramping and that lasted a few days. I had posed the question on FB about irregular periods after WLS and a lot of people told me it was because of the hormonal changes from rapid weight loss. When I go to see my surgeon on 11-29 will def address this issue with him. Sucks I know :(

My periods went really wonky after surgery. I got my period 5 days post op which was about 2-3 weeks earlier than normal. Then my period came 4 weeks after that (I was used to 6-7 week cycles) and there was spotting a couple days before it came. Also once that period started the bleeding was heavy. I was bleeding through overnight and maximum pads every 3-6 hours which had never happened before.
