  7. wow, wonder how much Herbal Life is paying her for referrals? I would definitely look for a new nutritionist. That is just not right.
  8. good question. I was wondering the same thing. I took it as meaning 1 measuring cup of food.
  9. I am on my pre op diet and around day 5 I had a cup of chili. I had a total meltdown and was so sick and tired of the liquid diet and of being hungry all the time. I felt really guilty as well. Havent cheated since. And I just realized it is 7.45pm and I forgot to have my dinner shake at 5pm.
  10. I have sf jello on my list of liquid foods post op.
  11. I am on day 7 of pre op - halfway done! I was prescribed Slimtime shakes - 3 a day and an additional 225 calories of low glycemic veggies. First day I had a horrible headache. Day 5 was the worst for me as I really missed my food and had a nice long cry about it. Things are much better now and I am hoping this next week will fly by.
  12. Looking forward to hearing about your journey!
  13. I think a butterfly would be appropriate as a reward for one of my goals. As soon as my collar bone makes an appearance I will have a butterfly tattooed just underneath it as a reminder of how far I have come.
  14. A week tomorrow I will be banded! Nervous - yes, Excited - absolutely! And I am halfway through my pre op diet that I thought I would never be able to do.
  15. Whooo hooooo! Sending lots of hugs.
  16. Congratulations on being banded! Hope you feel better soon!
  17. I am in Ontario, Canada and have paid $16000. all inclusive. I will be banded next week.
  18. I had the same feelings the first few days of my pre op diet. I was totally miserable , mourning the loss of my best friend (food). Then I realized I was not losing a best friend just changing our relationship. I am on day 7 now (half way there) and I feel much better.
  19. and have lost 6 lbs. I am on the home stretch now and getting more and more butterflies...lol
  20. Good post! I havent noticed too much negativity on this site. I try to stay away from the other wls boards because there is a lot of band bashing going on. Usually from the same few people. I will be banded on the 19th and am looking forward to starting my new healthier life.
  21. Day 7 for me. I am halfway through my pre op diet! I am allowed 3 Slimtime shakes plus an extra 225 calories of low glycemic veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, cabbage etc. If I just have the veggies at a meal I find I crave more so I drink my shake and then have the veggies and I am good to go.
