Post-Op Pain

So I am day 1 post-op and am still super sore. The gas pain isn't too bad today but I continue to feel like I have done thousands of crunches. I think that the worst parts now are the dry mouth from the narcotics and getting up from laying or reclining. I am trying my best not to bend too much at the waist

Congratulations on being banded!

Hope you feel better soon!

Congrats! The pain will ease as the days pass. Don't be freaked if pain around the port area last longer than anything else. I am close to 4 months out and I still have a little ouchness in the area if I move wrong.

Welcome to the band club!

Welcome to the band club!

Ok, for a moment I thought something might have been wrong...I'm mostly sore around the port area than where the band actually is located. Thanks for the clarification.

Congratulations!! And we are in this together. I was banded yesterday too. Had 2 hernias repaired at the same time. My poor husband is sick of hearing me complain. This too shall pass and we'll be on our way!!
