Newbie banded 2/13
Really don't need the picture to know that you are perfectly normal for this stage. Walking helps the gas. Try swinging your arms while you walk. Liquids in equals liquids out unfortunately. My doc allowed imodium if it gets too bad. In a few days this will all be behind you! Hang in there!

Adoption events
Great post Cheryl. We only have shelter animals at our house. Have for years. Good luck with the lawmakers!

Just threw up
One episode is not likely to stretch your band. Call Doc, he may want you to take nausea meds.
-
No more adjustments
It is unproven in human testing. Why take the chance? Just eat following band rules.

No more adjustments
Carcinia gambogia???? Call you lap band doctor to discuss with him. Dr. Oz is not a lap band surgeon to my knowledge. You may do more harm than good, blindly treating yourself. What did they sat about the Fluoro? Surely there was a doctor there to order that test? Please take care of yourself and see a qualified medical team. Best Wishes.

lapband...can you feel it?
Just the port... I have never felt the band. The port is not visible to others looking at you.

Stuck episode

food monsters
It works for me if I eat enough protein.

Throwing up and that time of the month
The surgery can cause some strange hormones to float about. I agree with the poster above, get nausea meds and call the OBGYN. Best wishes.

Day after surgery!!
Everyone varies. I never had any trouble with liquids as long as I did not try to gulp down too much at once. Congrats on your surgery and progress so far. Best wishes for your recovery.

Is this normal?!
Stick to the program. You will be able to add calories as you add in foods. Healing time causes strange results! Good luck!
-
when did you start shakes
I was on full liquids for 3 weeks, then soft foods. Every doctor varies, yet all seem to get results if you follow their plan. I think of it as multiple paths to the same place. Best wishes, and do what your doctor says.

Goodbye 300's!

need to kick my butt
It is so easy to fall back into old behaviours, but hey... at least you recognize it, so now you can do something about it! Consider this your friendly kick in the butt. Get back on the band wagon! Best wishes.

had a fill
Congrats on the fill!

Protein Shakes!
Unjury protein powder is the best for no chalky taste!
-
Small fills
You either trust the surgeon you are with or you don't. If you don't find a new one, if you do, I recommend following his plan. That's what you paid him for!

Pre-op diets vary.... I personally did not have one. I can attest to the fact that Atkins works. I still eat na modified Atkins diet today. Got me to goal and I am maintaining
