I'm nine days post op. my stomach has been achy all day. But I kept to my liquid diet, although I could drink more water. But all of a sudden I threw up what tasted like my liquid lunch. I feel better now. But I'm worried that I have done something wrong and that I might have stretched my band. Should I call my dr?

I would definitely call him but there is a stomach virus going around. Call him and ask him what he wants you to do.

One episode is not likely to stretch your band. Call Doc, he may want you to take nausea meds.

My doctor gave me a pill for the night before surgery and then they placed an anti-nausea patch behind my ear before the surgery. The patch lasts up to 4 days. You might want to suggest that to your doctor. I don't know it is there, but I have had no nausea episodes, which is rare for me.
