  1. I have been doing 2 zumba classses a week, 1 yoga and 2 days of weight training and it seems to be working for me. I still have loose skin but not hanging skin and I am down 81 lbs. Everyone is different, some people have very elastic skin and bounce back quickly. All you can do it try different things and see what works for you. Good luck!
  2. I think it is great! I know it is normal to think the worst with all the crap going around about advanced maternal age. My Husbands mom was 44 when she had him...in 1968, unheard of back then. Sending positive thoughts your way, I believe pregnancy is a gift and happens for a reason, best of luck to you!
  3. Try it , you will know! I cant eat and then drink, it feels like it has plugged up the tummy, too much at one time.
  4. Oh yes, completely normal. I was 7 days out when I started feeling "normal". Keep up the water and walking, I am sure that helped me the most.
  5. I lived in yoga pants and tees the first three weeks. I went back to work with low rise jeans and had no problems. Good luck finding something that is comfortable for you.
  6. I am so sorry you are having issues. My best friend also had surgery yesterday and she had bad pain and nausea last night. I havent talked to her since 7 this am but it does improve hourly, just hang in there. Hugs to you!
  7. OMG...too funny! Thanks for sharing. I cant think of anything to add right now but...give me a bit!
  8. You will be just fine, YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! Best of luck tomorrow! I really can say I didnt miss food, and I sure couldnt eat it anyway...you will see!
  9. Good for you, glad to hear you are doing well. I would get the protein in tho, very important. I know they are mostly nasty ones but keep trying till you find one you like.
  10. Congrats to you! Best of luck to you!
  11. You are doing fantastic, and sooo close to goal...congrats!
  12. Yaaay! You are that much closer!! Best of luck to you!
  13. You are doing great, dont worry, a loss is a loss, no matter how small. It will happen, be patient! I seem to do better when I really concentrate on my water intake and exercise.
  14. Oh yes, I completely understand! Been there done that! Before you know it you will be wearing the cute bra/panty sets...woo hoo! That was one of my favorite things to go buy when I lost enough weight. Thanks for the laugh!
  15. I am glad you are doing better, best of luck to you. It does get better every day, keep the positive attitude!!
  16. Thanks Kathy for your support, you are so kind!
  17. There are sooo many things.....I think just feeling good about myself again it the best. I was so tired of being sick and tired. Of course being able to fit in cute clothes again is a plus too!
  18. I have some loose skin upper arms, inner thighs, lower part of the bum , boobs a bit ( hate that part!) but suprisingly my tummy is fairly flat ( woo hoo, that was gonna be the part that bothered me the most...outside of the boobs!) It isnt real bad actually but I have been hitting it pretty hard core at the gym. 2 zumba classes a week, one yoga and 2 days of weight training...seems to be working, slowly but that is ok, 80 lbs in 7 months is a lot to shrink back up...lol!
  19. There is no real normal since everyone is different. I felt pretty darn good a week out, still a bit tired but I got up and walked as much as I could and that helped tremendously. I had a issue with protein too since I hated pretty much every powder I tried but I found the rtd Muscle Milk lights that saved me, they are 11 oz I believe and dont even need to be refrigerated but I think they are better cold. Good luck, it will get better...soon!
  20. I am sorry you are having issues but....YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! This is for you and no one can take this away from you! Best of luck!
  21. You will absolutely be able to have that...in time! I am 6 1/2 months out and have pretty much anything I want. I of course am making better choices now but I have been to sushi, mexican, burger joints etc and just eat my small amount and have leftovers. I have 3-4 pieces of sushi, burger minus the bun, grilled chicken taco without the tortilla and it takes care of my craving and I dont feel deprived at all. Hang in there, your day will come!
  22. Yum...sounds fantastic, I will have to try it. I havent found any powdered proteins I like so I will give it a try, thanks for sharing!
  23. One of my best friends from high school just joined this site, she is having her surgery Sept 4th at U.C.Davis in Sacramento and I would like everyone to welcome her and give her support on her upcoming surgery! Love ya Sonya....you will do great!
