  1. Thanks Mel and Vance, I appreciate your support.
  2. I wanted to thank all my fellow sleevers for all their support with my Dad. He passed away Thursday am. I am doing suprisingly well, he is in a better place. Of course I miss him but the wonderful memories are keeping me going. He was a wonderful man that everyone liked, he had this charisma about him. Make sure to spend as much time with your families as you can...life is too short. I love you Dad!
  3. Completely understandable, I would be the same way! Best of luck for a speedy clearance!
  4. No, thank goodness, I never had that problem. I am sorry, hopefully it will get better soon.
  5. It is normal to be nervous, scared etc.....you will do just fine. My prayers are with you for a speedy recovery and a thinner new you!
  6. I am losing pretty evenly, down from a size 20 pant to a size 10...that are getting larger....8's here I come!! Keep up the good work ladies, you are doing fantastic! BTW...the boobs are going fast now since I am down 76 lbs... :(

  8. Best of luck to you!!! You CAN do this!
  9. You are doing great...keep up the good work!
  10. Oh yes, completely normal. I was scared, excited, nervous...you name it!! I an sooo happy I made this decision and dont regret it at all, you wont either! Best of luck for a speedy approval!
  11. Yes, my doc made me wait till after my 2 month appt but I agree 100%. Weight training is the only way to go! Thanks for sharing! I did arms and legs very lightly till after my 2 month appt along with the treadmill. I would say go easy at first tho, dont want to over-do it, your tummy will let you know for sure.
  12. It will get better, hang in there. Jut get up and walk, even if you dont want too, it will make you feel better sooner. Make sure to get your water and protein too, that can make you lethargic. Best of luck.
  13. Thanks for the info. I am getting tired of my Muscle Milk so I will give those a try. I love protein bars too and am always looking for a new one to try!
  14. Yaaay! So happy for you! Keep up the good work!
  15. Of course you will lose some butt , I am sure it is a bit bigger than you want it right? You just need to tone it, Brazilian Butt lift tape is amazing, it does work!
  16. That is awesome! I was the same, one week out and felt great! Congrats to him!
  17. I had my surgery after being at my job for 8 months and didnt qualify for FMLA. No, your job isnt protected but most employers arent that cruel. I used all my sick leave for the year (2012) and some vacation for mine. I was out 3 weeks...wanted to come back to work after 1 week but dr wouldnt let me. I got lucky since we get one sick day a month and start with two weeks vacation. I would suggest talking to them , I am sure you will be fine but just in case.
  18. I didnt have that problem but I guess it is common to have gas pains in the chest/shoulder areas because of them filling you up with air during surgery. Walk as much as you can, it helps disperse the gas faster...good luck!
  19. Yaay Bear, you are taking the first step to a healthier you, and I am proud of you! You deserve to be happy and healthy and you CAN do this!!! Best of luck for a speedy approval, keep us posted!
  20. My sleeve sings to me all the time...lol! I think as long as you arent having any "issues" just hang in there. No need to take a acid reducer if you dont have heartburn.
  21. You will be just fine. It will all fall into place for you. I thought the same thing but you do what you can and eventually you will be at the water/protein level you need to be at. Best of luck to you!
  22. Woo hoo, keep up the good work, you look fantastic!
  23. Yaaay Edie, you are doing fabulous so far. Best of luck to you, keep us posted.
  24. Best of luck to you both!
  25. I had no gas pains whatsoever but I made myself walk as much as I could. I was up and walking as soon as they got me back to my room after surgery.
