These two flavors are my favorites, I drink one of each every day! (but my latte cappucchino always goes into my iced coffee :smile1: )

Feb 4 Weigh In - Our 6 Month Anniversary !
This morning I weighed in at 151, down 1.8 from last Saturday. I was a little bummed because I did an "early weigh" yesterday and the scale said 150. Not sure if yesterday I was dehydrated or today I was retaining Fluid because clearly there is no way I gained a pound overnight as I east almost the same thing every day I'm only 11 lbs from goal, I was hoping to hit it by my Feb 25, my 6 month surgiversary but I'll be damn close and I'm a happy camper

Really Scared, Don't Have That Same "non Hungry" Feeling...
I am definately in the same boat. I find I am hungry a lot of the time. I am not feeling the same restriction I felt a month ago and it's frightening to me. I am conscious of everything I put into my mouth and log all my food in myfitnesspal.com But the return of hunger and the feeling I could binge is very scary

January 14, 2012 Check-In
I am about 15 lbs from goal, I initially hoped to reach it by my 6 month anniversary on Feb 25. But my weight loss has slowed to a crawl. Frustrating because I'm not doing anything different, still eating within 30 carbs and 90 grams of Protein daily. The scary thing is that I'm finding I'm able to eat significantly more (if I let myself) and very rarely have the full feeling anymore.

I'm Probably A Screw Up...
So sorry about the loss of your friend. But to put this in perspective - There is nothing wrong with having three drinks prior to surgery. It might impact your presurgery weight loss and if you are on a pre op diet, clearly drinking is not part of the plan. Please don't beat yourself up over this.

B12 question
Fluffy - I'm 3 months post op. The only instructions I received from my Nut was to a vitamin recommendation. I take 2 chewables daily.

B12 question
My surgeon never mentioned the need for B-12 or Calcium supplements. Should I be worried?

As Anyone Done Medifast Post Gastric Sleeve Surgery ?
putasleeveonit - thanks for your reply. I was hoping to have more responses, I guess no one is doing medifast post sleeve. I think I'm going to try it and see how it goes. Can't hurt, I'm not losing doing what I'm doing.

As Anyone Done Medifast Post Gastric Sleeve Surgery ?
On two separate occasions, I lost over 100 lbs doing Medifast. The problem was I couldn't keep it off. And during my 9 week pre op diet, I lost 33 lbs doing Medifast. SO - fast forward to one month post sleeve - I lost 9 lbs the first week after surgery. The following 3 weeks I lost 3 more but then GAINED 2 back. I have no idea why, I'm eating approx 80 grams Protein, 5-600 calories and 20 grams of carbs. I know Medifast works, I'm so frustrated I'm thinking about doing it post sleeve. Anyone else do this?

I guess I'm at a stall
Heather, girl, your 6 pounds just gave me hope! I was at the dr yesterday and according to his scale, I have only lost 1 lb in the last three weeks. WTF??? Oh well, off to drink some Water...maybe that will help
-
I guess I'm at a stall
I'm having some of the same issues. Pre op, I lost 32lbs I was sleeved on 8/25, the first week lost 9lbs. But my loss has slowed to a crawl, only losing 3 lbs in the last 3 weeks. I know it's not truly a stall as I am losing but based on the calories in, it's frustrating to see my loses slow to a crawl. It's hard to wrap my head around how I could lose more weight on a consistent basis prior to my sleeve. In the end, the weight will have to come off, right ?

Pantry Selections Products thru mybariatricpantry.com
I'm going to have to order some of the soups now that it looks like summer is officially over The hot chocolate is my absolute favorite, tastes great, portable and Protein - what more could a girl ask for!
-
What protein shake do you recommned?
I second this recommendation. My favorite nectar Protein drink is Vanilla Bean Torte followed closely by Cappuccino. I also like a few of the Inspire protein powders - Caramel latte is great. Pantry Selections makes some great hot chocolate flavors that have about 15 grams of protein, low carbs and fat. There are def some great tasting protein powders available, it might take you some trial and error before finding one(s) you love.

Pantry Selections Products thru mybariatricpantry.com
brittu - Thank you! I love the convenience and taste of the pre packaged foods, perfect for travel which I do for my job weekly. Our starting and goal weights are almost identical(231/140) so your results are encouraging I'm a little frustrated because I was losing more consistently with more calories during my 9 week Medifast/lean and green preop diet than I have the last three weeks post sleeve) Plastic surgery - ahh, the next phase. Good luck (can't wait until I'm there...)

Buyers remorse ... not losing weight and kind of sad ...
Sunny, I hear you girl. I am feeling the same frustrations. I'm 3 weeks out and lost 13 lbs. BUT, 9 of those lbs were in the first week. It's maddening how slowly the weight is coming off when compared to the number of calories I'm eating daily. Yesterday, I got on the scale and had GAINED 1.6 lbs. ??? Come on body, this is insanity! Like emmas mom, I did Medifast for 9 weeks preop. And lost 32.9 lbs in those 9 weeks. And had a much more consistent loss. HOWEVER - I lost over 100 lbs on medifast once before and couldn't keep it off, I'm convinced the sleeve will be the tool to allow me to keep the weight off. I'm trying to keep a positive attitude but it's hard...I decided to stay off the scale for a bit. I have 47 more lbs to go until I reach my goal. It will happen for both of us. We just need to stop obsessing... (easier said than done, right?)
