  1. I had a mini gastric bypass from sleeve. I developed ulcers. Surgeon tried to fix me but they came back on once a day Protonix every day for 6 years

  4. I continue to have ulcers and take medication daily to keep the pain down. Dr. Jalil remove ulcerative tissue but there is something fundamentally wrong with the ulcers returning
  5. Normally who you are having surgery with will pick you up in San Diego. Contact them to see if they do. They would have a better chance of having medical badge. I doubt regular taxis would have medical badges or credentials for that lane. I used BariatricPal and was picked up and returned with no issues.

  7. I have the mini and have been stable for 2 years. My weight stays between 134 and 138 based on water, fiber and calorie intake. I gain if I don’t get enough calories. I pretty must eat anything in small quantities. Eggs, beef, chicken, salmon, tuna, veggies, some fruits, protein pasta, occasionally protein shakes or bars. I am 5’6” and my high weight was 269.
  8. Frustra8 - I am still too young for Medicare. No insurance right now. Pay cash for my thyroid medicine. Will continue to pay cash because it was always higher with drug coverage. I hope to delay the journey to Medicare as long as I can. I feel your pain and wish things were better for you.
  9. Do you take liquid or tablet form of Sucralfate? I have to get back on it.
  10. I was a sleeve revision to MGB. I had horrible reflux with the sleeve and unsatisfactory weight loss. I don’t have reflux with the MGB but for unknown reasons I have ulcers. I am at 136 lbs from high weight of 269. This is better than my goal of 150. I am 5’ 6” I eat pretty much anything. Chicken, ground beef, steak, turkey. Any kind of vegetable and a little protein pasta sometimes. If I take my medicine I am fine. No issues. I had IBS with Constipation and WLS did not improve this. I will be glad to answers any other questions. My revision two years ago this month.
