  10. Hey I am in the same boat as far as the hypertensio goes.... My #s are all over the place, the highest I have ever checked was 185/114 last week. Today it was 163/98! I am taking meds too but I hate the way they make me feel. What are your numbers like? Also prediabetic (stage2) wouldnt it be nice to get off these meds with this Lap Band surgery.
  11. I think the psych eval is bc they want to know if you know what you're gettn into, understand all the pros and cons, have any anorexic/bulimic thinking or behaviors! U know to be wholly mentally prepared for the right reasons.
  12. Go there and ask for a copy of everything that have in your folder!!! You have the right to it, it's your info! Then see if you can take it to the next surgeon ( the new one) and let him know u have done all steps. Maybe u wouldn't have to go through it all again if he would accept them.

  16. To be truthful, I am doing the same bc my first surgeon meeting is next week. Ins will only approve if I need to lose 100+ so I can't go below 230! Are we crazy?!

But what I do want to reinforce is that we are all here to help you, we respond with constructive criticism bc we do care. Its not always good to hear bit ot os ecpressed with much truth and love for your wellbeing. We bandits stick together. I'm glad you found the place to vent here. Now take the advice here and seriously put forth your best effort to "get er done "!
  24. Great for you, unlike most Of us who have to wait. It wouldnt hurt to see your PCP bc I think it requires a physical and blood work before surgery.
