  1. I am sure whatever you set your mind to you will make happen.
  2. I wore my binder for about 2 weeks after surgery. It wasn't too tight at all, but definitely listen to your body if you feel pain.
  3. Good luck, hope you hear back soon. My mom submitted with Aetna and heard back in less than 48 hours.
  4. I still have apprehension about eating. I try to set timers for myself and mini-goals throughout the day to hit the marks for fluids and protein I need to get. You can do this. I know it's hard, but you can!
  5. That's awesome! Congrats! I am so happy for you. That is an amazing accomplishment.
  6. CONGRATS! I wish that would happen to me so bad. I can't get into smaller sizes until my bottom half starts shrinking, lol.
  7. I nearly drunk a whole entire bottle of champagne on New Year's. Whoops.... and I have had quite a scotch whiskey's and bourbon's throughout the holiday season. You will probably be fine. I would ask your surgeon directly what he means with alcohol consumption if you are worried. However, it hits me like a fire truck and leaves me in two seconds flat. Just be aware, alcohol doesn't sit the same as it used to.
  8. YOU LOOK FABULOUS!! I love it. You look so happy too.
  9. Wow, that's amazing. You look great and have lost so much!
  10. Oh my gosh, that's horrible! I am sorry this happened. Please take care.
  11. You look great. Congrats on the weight loss!
  12. Haha, I love spicy food. I can't imagine a world without. Gotta love a healed stomach. I just can't do ground beef anymore. It tears me up.
  13. Lol, looks like fun, good luck! My goal for the new year will be 2012 miles in 2012.
  14. It happens. I stalled out for 3 weeks. I mean nothing on the scale or measuring tape. Try and stay positive. It has to end eventually.
  15. Congrats! Thank you for coming back and sharing your story.
  16. Sounds about right to me. Don't worry too much, the scale will move again! Just stay positive and on the plan.
  17. I am almost there and still having trouble believe it, but seeing is believing. Congrats on your awesome weight loss! Good luck with your surgery.
  18. My longest was 3, but my average is 2 and 1/2 weeks.
  19. I don't feel like I am running towards diabetes. Both my mother and my father have it now, and I am so glad that if I keep the weight loss up. I won't ever have to face it.
