  1. If I waited on hunger, I would NEVER eat seriously...I've been on the go all day today, and just made myself eat right now (2:15pm), otherwise I wouldn't eat until tonight at our family dinner around 7pm. I have to remember to eat. It's so much easier when I'm at work (M-Th) and on some type of schedule.
  2. I had both my knee surgeries and my breast biopsy done at Ontario...I have my panni class on the 27th so I will find out then and let you know. This will be my 10th surgery if I get it done, what the heck??? Lol
  3. SOOO HAPPY FOR YOU! CONGRATS!
  4. My nurses had horror stories for me after surgery. They said one man went home and ate steak and DIED. And another patient drank soda and had to have emergency surgery...Um what the heck?
  5. WOW! YOU LOOK AMAZING! YOU GO GIRL! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. omg omg omg plastics called me and said they got the referral from my doctor and that all I have to do is take 1 class and then I can schedule the surgery. They are going to send me the information...I really am going to pray about this.
  7. I am proud of you too girlie!!! You are doing AWESOME!!!!
  8. I just went to google and typed in panniculectomy. Some of the pics of loose skin are incredibly disturbing . The procedure is not pretty like a normal tt at all. If I get the referral I will make sure to find out EXACTLY what it entails and let you know.
  9. Yikes! Thanks for the 411 Tiffykins! I'm not sure I'm going to go this way. My main thing is to fix what's going on downstairs. The OBGYN is the one that said a panni may benefit me first before doing anything else, and Kaiser will cover that 100% but I will find out if they have an option to do a full tummy tuck with the patient paying a portion...I'm scuuurred LOL.
  10. OK girls I originally got the referral to the OBGYN from Bariatric department because I have some loose skin down there bothering me. So today she said she thinks I should get a panni FIRST and then see what happens, and that would probably help me from feeling blah down there LOL...I did NOT expect this at all. I'm SO SO SCURRED OF THIS THOUGH. I saw some pics and it's not a normal beautiful tummy tuck with a new belly button. It's basically a lower tummy tuck all the way around (I think). BUT IF it will help me feel better down there, I will DO IT! I will keep you posted.
  11. Hi y'all! Well I went to the drs. today and she said she really thinks I should get a panniculectomy...I know it's not a full tummy tuck right? Has anyone here had one? Any information is appreciated
  12. I had surgery on a Friday and went home the following Monday...returned to work after 1 month.
  13. I have loose and wrinkly skin mainly on my tummy and back of thighs, BUT I am 43 yrs. old and have had 2 babies (now 14 and 19) and gained and lost, and gained and lost weight many many times over the years...AND I don't exercise on a daily basis, or use weights ugh. You are still young and have a better chance of your skin not being as flabby or as loose, everyone is different. Fingers crossed for you
  14. I don't think it's weird, thanks for sharing
