AMAZING CONGRATS!!!!!

I had a terrible time post op! I stayed 3 nights in the hospital. I also had that what in the world did I do moment in the hospital and cried my eyes out. The first 13 days were horrible. On day 14 I felt so much better. I am now almost 11 months out and at goal and living life to the fullest, and feeling AWESOME! I WOULD DO IT AGAIN in a SECOND! Take one day at a time. I promise it gets better with each new day

OK You made my day ...I was actually 22 yrs. old, 1 month shy of 23. I don't remember what size the dress was, but right now I'm wearing a 4-6 which is really 8-10's for sizes back then.

Thanks! It's actually a cranberry color...I have traditional colors in my house-cranberry, gold, khaki green (Polo) Ralph Lauren. I have a old world style (Bombay), I would love to go lighter now and more modern. I just need some green backs LOL!

THANK YOU so much for the 411. I'm sooooo anxious for my appointment next Wednesday. I really can not afford to pay out of pocket for anything, so we'll have to see what it is exactly they cover, and pray it all works out for me. Shoot if I could get one thing done it would be a back lift. Wishful thinking (sigh).

Awwww thanks sister! I've been told a few times it looks like the dress from the little mermaid (?). I'm going to have to rent that and check it out lol. My sister in law said I just need a red long wig and tiara and I can be Ariel for Halloween LOL!

Hi Sleeve Family, I haven't worn this dress since October 20, 1990. I was going to wait until tomorrow morning to try it on, but decided to try it on after dinner tonight instead and OMG it FITS! I cried, I laughed, felt silly, happy, and joyful!!! I'm still sitting here wearing it! So many many buttons (old school), now I think they use zippers instead of individual buttons. I am in SHOCK! I am so thankful for my sleeve, I just can not believe this! It's a MIRACLE!!!! Dreams really do come true, and it can happen for you too ...LOVE AND HAPPINESS TO ALL!!!!! P.s. Don't laugh remember it was 1990 and I went for trendy lol!

YES because I am STILL GAGA for HIM after 22 years ...Physical beauty is superficial. Beauty fades and is truly ONLY skin deep. I didn't marry him for his body, I married him for his heart. And I know he feels the same towards me. THANK GOD! Otherwise he would have left me in 1997 when I started putting on the most weight, and even NOW with all my saggy loose skin .

I remember when I just wanted to weigh less than my hubby. I was soooo happy on the day I finally weighed a few LB's less than he did. Today I weight 40 lbs. less than he does. When I was FAT he loved me and NEVER made me feel bad about being FAT. I do see him in a different light as far as weight goes because he looks so much bigger to me now (especially in the belly lol). And I wish he would lose because he has type 2 diabetis, but my love for him is stronger than ever before .

When I finally stepped on a scale after many years and found out that I had reached 234 lbs. (2004). BUT I will tell you I lost a little before I actually went to that weight watcher meeting and stepped on that scale LOL! I believe I may have reached up to 240 but I will never really know for sure...So with that said I was 234 and now weigh 146 and have lost 88 lbs. I started on this forum last June at 216, on the day of surgery (August 27, 2010) I was 204. I'm extremely anxious to find out all the information I can concerning this panni since I have not spoken to anyone who has had it first hand. I want the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I will let you know what I found out at my class on the 27th...it's a 2-3 hour class so I'm hoping it will cover lots of information

I don't remember but I think it was weeks after surgery. I had a hard time just getting water down.
