I took 4 weeks off. I felt back to normal by week 2, but I was still very weak (from not eating) and took many naps on a need to basis. 4 weeks was perfect for me, I work in an office. Everyone is different. I had a pretty tough time post surgery. I've heard some people go back to work only after a few days, go figure.

Hey make sure to ask your surgeon to take pictures...I wish I would have done that!!!

Diva let's DO IT! I only went to the first peak, there's even a higher peak (yikes), that would be awesome to do. Maybe we can set up a date at our March meeting, BUT it will have to be in the Spring or Winter, the Summer heat will KILL US LOL! It was almost 80 degrees yesterday which was pretty bad, and it's WINTER (????). Gotta love CA

Thank you sleeve family!!! I still can't believe I really did it. I am sooooooo sore today! The awesome thing is that my knees are fine, which is truly a miracle, and I know it's because of the 53 lbs. I no longer have to carry around with me. My next goal, is to catch a wave and surf. I'm praying that will happen this summer yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Eloray all l I heard was my deep breathing in and out...we almost turned back several times but we PRESSED and DID IT! YAYYYYYYYYYYY! Thank you JESUS! This was a miracle for me seriously. Here's a picture of the half way point.

Well I've been wanting to do this for a while, I can't believe I finally DID IT! I'm SO TIRED, but SO HAPPY!!!! YAYYYYYYY! Here are 2 pics of me at the top (Hollywood sign in the back as well as the city of L.A.), and finally back down at the front of the canyon. This was a huge victory for me...and it was a beautiful day here in Southern CA.

Would someone please explain what in the world a 5 day pouch test is???? I've seen this mentioned several times. What's the point of this test? Will it help me break a stall? Lose weight? See if I'm eating too much? Gracias!
