Sorry you went through this, but everyone is different with surgery stages. Ive been lucky to not have any problems at all, thank god! I m almost 4 weeks out and baked some pork chops , i chewed and chewed and luckily it went down very well. I agree though listen to your doctor. This surgery is all about trial and error because everyone is different.
Hi , i just had surgey on 1-6-2011 and im new to the forum. Looking forward to chatting with you who are also post op. My surgery went great. still sore but love seeing the scale move downward. Can't wait til i can start working out again and toning.
Hi i won an appeal with Anthem BCBS but not because of BMI, Oh thats a hard one but if you have other health reasons as to why then i suggest you fight to get what you want. My denial was investiongational although i appealed it took them 30 days to overturn the denial and approve my sleeve. Good luck to you
First Congrats to you and your fiance on your surgery, Second , i don't know if you have ever heard of the 2 week stall very common after WLS, your bodies are still healing and needs to adjust to your new tool. Im sure once everything will be ok. Good luck to the both of you and keep me updated
I finally got my date January 6,2011 , its just 2 weeks away to start my new journey!! Im so excited and hoping all goes wekk with surgery even though im no stranger to surgery after 2 c sections, gall bladder, 3 hernia's repaired. Im looking forward to sharing my experience with you all soon. My surgeon only requires a 2 day pre op diet of liquids which is great to hear especially after seeing that some require 2 weeks of liquids.
Wish me luck
